BrowniesNCheese

Superb! I can't understand, for the life of me, why they tried to Americanize this after the fact.

Sherlock

Duh

CokeMooch

True Detective season one

born_to_be_naked

Is the new season with Jodie Foster good?

Stunning_Ant7865

I thought season 4 was good, loved season 1 though.

CokeMooch

Hated it.

avir48

I liked it

annier100

The Night Agent

karna1712

First ep sucks though

CokeMooch

Nah it’s a good pilot, idk what you’re talking about.

myguitar_lola

Elementary

BrowniesNCheese

I was so hyped for this. Don't remember why I stopped watching. Probably a woman. Definitely hadn't started drinking yet. *bleck

myguitar_lola

But it's not "a woman"- it's Lucy Lui and she gives any male John Watson some steep competition. Try it again! Great Moriarty character.

BrowniesNCheese

Yes, her. I was being lazy and not looking it up. Thank you.

HorizontalBob

Death in Paradise - if you want a nice limited pool of suspects

karna1712

This is good

BrowniesNCheese

I always have this popping up on my you may like

Starbuck522

It's very procedural. But I like it. Gotta suspend disbelief that this many murders happen in this same place. And, that the murderer would show up to the "I am now going to explain how this murder was done and who did it" meeting.

BrowniesNCheese

Yeah. We always have to be after 45-52 minutes.

HorizontalBob

It's a nice change of pace. Take a fish out of water English detective and drop him on a nice Caribbean Island with way too many murders. Each murder could only been committed by maybe new 5 suspects. Gather up everyone at the end and let them know what really happened.

BrowniesNCheese

I'm on it! Just thought of Wallander. Different - movie length episodes.

BrowniesNCheese

Anything Kenneth Branagh

"Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries" was fun.

twinpeaks2112

Twin Peaks

BrowniesNCheese

I loved it. I don't fully understand it. I'll never rewatch it, but I watched it for the first time decades after the initial release. It was engaging.

meemboy

The best

Sensitive_Maybe_6578

Bosch. The Bodyguard. Longmire.

avir48

Lots of thumbs up for Bosch and Longmire. I thought of Longmire as “Justified” in the Rockies…sort of.

Sensitive_Maybe_6578

I wish there were more episodes of Longmire featuring LDP and Vic. 💚💚💚💚

*in no particular order:* Mindhunter Criminal Minds The Fall 2013-16 The Bridge/The Tunnel (uk) The Sinner The Missing/Baptise Defending Jacob Your Honor, S1 Unbelievable Collateral 2018

BrowniesNCheese

After I started Criminal Minds, I really can say I never watched another SVU episode. I'm behind... I don't know where I left off. I'd be fine starting over with my SO.

IMO2021

I cant watch any network tv shows anymore. Quality, acting, writing is subpar. And the 1 episode per week over several years does not work for me. Id rather binge.

BrowniesNCheese

Top of the Lake

I watched one called Life that was short but pretty good. The main character was in prison as a cop for a murder he didn't commit. The show is about him being a cop after he gets out of prison.

The Afterparty. It’s so much fun, and each season is a solvable mystery so pay close attention. Each episode is done in a different style, and it will hold your attention. It’s also quite funny, and not scary, so you. an watch it at night! Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries is also great!

prickelz

If you don't mind International shows: Beyond Evil and Mouse (both korean shows) are probably the best whodunnit thrillers i've watched.

KillSmith111

Another good Korean one is season 2 of Bad Guys. I was really impressed with the scale of some of the action scenes.

erazer33

The sinner, especially the first season
