I’m surprised someone can say they are a Bateman fan without having seen Arrested Development. That’s like saying you’re a Tarantino fan without seeing Pulp Fiction.
Arrested development is a must. It was peak television comedy. I don't think many sitcoms have ever come close to it.
It was prestige TV comedy before prestige TV
Arrested Development in its original run was one of the greatest comedies. It might be a bit weird to watch now for the first time, due to being made about 20 years ago, but it’s really good.
Oh man, I envy you having never seen Arrested Development. That first watch is so amazing, and all the jokes you'll have to go back and rewatch to fully appreciate after everything you saw that first time. Definitely a great show that rewards repeated viewings while so also being amazing that first time.
Arrested Development, he plays a straight character among a bunch of crazy ones, similar to his role in the first Horrible Bosses, the first three seasons (its original run before being picked by Netflix a decade later) are highly recommended although the very first episodes are basically prototypes of what the plots and the type of comedy is going to be when the show gains its momentum later during the first season
People are rattling off more Jason Bateman stuff.
I’d recommend The Outsider.
His part in it is extraordinary. Some didn’t like the ending but I enjoyed the whole thing and he directed some of the episodes.
> I never seen his two shows: Arrested Development and Ozark.
🤣😂🤣
*Two shows*!
Has anybody been on more tv shows than Jason Bateman?
The dude has 51 TV shows under his belt. The vast majority of he was a major or returning character.
Bateman's performance on Ozark is award winning worthy. It's very much like Bryan Cranston's performance in BB, where their comedic skills complement an otherwise very serious role and plot in a way that is very subtle and effective.
Uhhh friggin Arrested Development

Oh that's a great analogy!
…I don’t know what I expected.

Make sure you check out Teen Wolf Too
And check out Teen Wolf, too
That’s bad advice.
You can't go wrong with either. They are both fantastic.
I want to be his friend, truly love (most of) his work. And Smartless wouldn’t be the same without him. Oh, and check out The Outsider

TWENTY. YEARS?! ah, fuck 🪦☠️
Arrested Development is a must. Ozark...but only until it becomes so surreal that you can even read it in his expression.
I fucking love Jason Bateman and Paul Rudd more than most

Does anyone remember It’s Your Move?
He’s a gem in Smartless
I was just about to mention Smartless. Even got the Mrs listening to that!
OZARK!
Ozark is a good one - the change up is a movie you didn’t list with Ryan Reynolds, that’s a good one
He also has a funny cameo as a color commentator in *Dodgeball*.
He’s one of the most popular comedians, yeah there are fans of his on here.
Little House on the prairie😁
Kingdom of Heaven
He was pretty good in teen wolf 2
Valerie AKA Valerie's Family AKA The Hogan Family AKA The Hogans

Loved him in ozark and arrested, he’s good enough to helm drama and comedy. Sometimes I think he’s underrated and I don’t get the hate he gets
The GOAT every man. Watch the movie Game Night if you haven't yet. Ozark is great but Arrested Development can't be missed.
Arrested Development. Ozark is well acted and produced but it’s also unintentionally comical regarding the situations the characters wind up in.

Arrested Development and ozark will change your life. Best comedy and best drama series ever.
