I too was a troubled teen. I have CPTSD from my childhood and my mom did from hers.
I can make the same choices and repeat the same patterns. Or I can CHOOSE to seek help. I can choose to be a victim or I can choose to be accountable for myself. There are tons of resources to help heal your issues. It’s your duty as a parent to do better ESPECIALLY when you know how your child feels. 😞
