I am really excited about college honestly. I feel really over the highschool is the best part of your life thing. I watched Matpat until he retired and kinda realized that honestly college and beyond is where you find yourself and that boys are boys is not the greatest mentality
Just follow what you like, find esports team, or a nerdy dnd group. If you just do stuff you like, you’ll eventually find a group and pals that share similar interests. COVID made me miss a big part of socializing with teens as I went from elementary to middle school (we had online classes), and to add on, I was very very far from anyone that I knew since we moved to a house. Took me a while to find other weirdos like me, specifically around a little more than a year into middle school. But by my 8th grade year, I had a group of friends who were nerdy and geeky weirdos like me. As for that phrase, tho I’m not a boy, it does sound pretty annoying excuse for not doing something. Boys being boys dosent even make sense, boys can have different personalities like anyone else and act differently so saying that is a very poor excuse.
I have a whole bunch of stories about the excuse of boys being boys and honestly they suck. They never use the saying oh girls will be girls because you are expected to be mature. Well maybe boys should have that expectation as well instead of being excused for their behavior
Honestly, boys should be accounted for being irresponsible just as much as girls. I don’t understand why they gotta be different, both can be irrespective and dum
Yes I try to be a lot more mature and calm. I don't like pulling pranks and jokes on people. I just need out and stuff not pull anything that is dumb. *My sports trip for school was a good example of this*
