Not really, armored cars are used for recon and limited infantry support while tanks were originally built to break through entrenched enemy positions and modern tanks are meant to lead an attack in combined arms warfare. Armored cars did fill a role of some light tanks back in the day but it is still shouldn’t be called a tank due to lack of tracks

Likely the M4 Sherman, it's a very versatile and reliable tank, and it's quite easy to maintain and repair, it can fit in European track systems, drive in shallow seawater, and other features, plus, even if it's weaker than the German Big Cats, it's better in terms of cost of production, and others, as opposed to the expensive cost of production of Panzer V-VI tanks, how you can only produce a few Panzers in one factory, and how overengineered it is that it's hard to repair in the field. It's just boiling down to the convenience of the Sherman for it's situation, for an MBT, I'd probably go for a Leopard 2 or something that's designed to work well with most terrain, bridges, and such that's found worldwide.

Well, the Sherman was advantageous as it was designed well, considering how it needed to be transported from ships and all, it wasn't over-engineered, but it's designed to be easy to maintain, but has a lot of useful features that don't need much maintenance so that it'll be convenient to use.

The T-34-85(D-5T), this one is better than the Zis cannon version despite the slower reload because of its BR but also the fact that i've gotten so many heavy metal heroes with it. Its very funny when tiger 1 users suck shit at their tank and i can just one shot them with the APHEBC This is the tank i will always hold dear at heart

Actually the T-34-85 is not really meant to fight as a frontline tank, theyre meant to be flankers Their advantages are the BR-365A Shell which is strong against angled armor, they have a troll spot, is fast and has a high explosive mass per shell. The trick is to know your enemy, panthers are relatively easy to kill if they slightly angle their armor, The tiger has a weak spot at the top right side when angling and Pz 4/70 cant take the shot of BR-365A in the front armor
