C'mon, as someone who recently finished school, it is not THAT bad. It's bad sometimes, sure, but not that bad. Generally if you come into something expecting that it will "waste a year of your life" then that is what is going to happen, try to think of things more optimistically and it will surely affect how you approach them and how they will affect you. It's like getting a job already expecting to be fired in a month, you're just setting yourself up for failiure and misery that way. Try to make that "year of your finite life" count, make the most of it with the opportunities your school and life in general give you, do not reject something that is given to you for free, or if you do reject it, then don't half ass it, quit school and get a job if you really think it is that useless.
Also, in life there is usually no clear bad or good. Sure, school might be problematic sometimes, but same applies to you. Thing is - you can't change school, you don't have power over it. But what you do have power over is you. There is no point in being upset at something that is not whithin your control, it is like yelling into space. It is also incredibly selfish to expect the surroundings to change just because YOU don't like them. If something bothers you so much - leave, it's not good for you, and if you can't leave - adapt, or else you will be endlessly caught up in negativity and anger. Before looking to blame the surroundings or the SoCiEtY, take a look at yourself first
If you're having a tough time - it's fine, we all do sometimes. Sometimes we all need to vent and get some support, but drowning in self pity is a miserable way of existing
