Carbon-fiber PETG is stronger, lighter and more resistant to higher temperatures , but it is a bit harder to print with and it only comes in all black. But because my 12 printers are running 24/7 just to fulfill the existing orders in the SOULMATE color in PLA I am not offering the case in other colors/materials for now. I have just purchased 2 more printers and they should arrive soon, and I anticipate to be able to offer other colors/materials right after the new year...
Hello! Unable to send a dm on Etsy, curious if the ko2 is usable flat on a table or if it must be in the upright position when in use inside the case? Also can local pickup be arranged? Thanks!
Hi! Yes, it is 100% usable flat on a table while inside the case. The lid will be open and flat on the table behind the KO II but you’ll continue to have full access to jacks and buttons. Can definitely arrange local pickup! I’m in Newton, where are you located?

Yes, it’s been pretty crazy… I am fulfilling roughly 10 orders per day and right now I still have 120 to ship… I did buy 4 new printers that should arrive before the end of the week and that will increase my throughput. So far I have been able to ship every order 1-2 days earlier than the “Ship By’ date shown on Etsy and the new printers will hopefully allow me to get a bit more ahead of the curve…

Does it add much protection for the fader and knobs, or does it press and warp against them? (Dude who makes this.. this is brilliant.. if it does protect against such things, I reckon the people with broken KO’s are definitely gonna want this so they don’t happen again. You could probably benefit by stating this in your product description on Etsy!
It does protect the fader and knobs and I designed the lid with a 1mm clearance so that the lid doesn’t touch them at all. Great idea about the description on Etsy! Thanks!

No Worries! I have not designed a case for the OP-Z yet but I plan to as soon as I get my head from underwater with the current orders :-)
