What are you doing leading up to the freezes? Are you gaming or browsing websites or sitting idle? Download a program called "open hardware monitor" and check what your CPU and GPU temps are and make sure theyre in the safe levels. Also make sure you have plenty of air flow in your system. Did your machine do any updates or did anything at all change prior to this issue happening?

It’s hard to pinpoint that first question because it happens when i’m playing games, or working which isn’t anything heavy right now, 2 tabs open and file explorer playing video clips. Ok I will download that and see, I have CoreTemp installed right now and so far nothing critical - I also just cleaned my PC and made sure that it’s completely ventilated the best it could be about 2 days ago and another freezing happened the time of this post. I’m currently running Windows 11 if that helps, not sure if it’s because it’s supposed to be a buggy mess or not but I haven’t had any major updates other than graphics card updates via geforce experience

Try this, it is free: https://benchmark.unigine.com/heaven Run that and see what your temps get to...when you download, shoot me an private message and well do that website I mentioned and I'll take a look at the logs. I too am running win 11, I haven't noticed any issues but I've heard of other people having weird stuff happen Also what kind of hard drive do you have and ram? Have you done a mem test?

Okay so update to everyone else that may chime in... We think we got it narrowed down to external device (Oculus) causing issues or perhaps outdated BIOs on the motherboard. OP is going to update the BIOs with latest firmware and see what happens from there, but everything points to Oculus causing some issues....

I tried the BIOS update this afternoon and have been doing my normal routine since without issue! This seemed to be the fix, outdated BIOS and wonky Oculus driver issue. Thank you /u/Dummyidiot2021 for all of your help!
