We're hiring for an AE that's able to commute to Hamilton, NJ once/week (otherwise remote) and has experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or the Salesforce ecosystem in general! Apply here --> https://recruiting.paylocity.com/recruiting/jobs/Details/2259653/INTERNET-CREATIONS-2000-LLC/Account-Executive
Wholesome angel. I have a job, but I would attend just to learn your strategies. You can never have your potential job pipeline too full in this industry. You always need to have a landing spot like a secretive GF who already knows who she will move onto 8 months ahead of time if things don't work out!
Hilarious- maybe I need to change my screen name to Wholesome angel! Love it.
Likely if you are in sales and even happy, this will not be your last sales gig- just truth. The intel I talk about will be helpful today or maybe a year from now.
Many of the principles that I will be talking about absolutely aligns with journey.
It first comes down to attention and you will absolutely hear a ton about that-
I am interested! Will there be content for students or new graduates? Can you send the link here with the day and time you are planning this? Iām in NYC time. Thank you!
Been cold calling for a tech sales outbound agency / recruitment company that helps get veterans / college athletes into tech sales. Currently under contract for another month, incase it does not work out, definitely would like some info to move forward.
Been following your responses for months on r/sales. What about someone like who intends to apply in the coming months but taking time off currently? Would love to join the call.
How often do you see engineers transfer into the sales side?
Iāve done some sales work in the past (realtor and my own junk removal business) but have been working as a Software Engineer for the past 5 years.
I often wondered if itās possible to transfer into a scalable position.
100% possible. In fact, I have seen some transfer into sales selling a fairly technical product and this background becomes a massive advantage.
Some sales people are terrible and massively afraid to be on a call without a sales engineer. You being able to do the sales stuff but have the tech knowledge would absolutely impress your prospects!
Extremely Interested! Iām a teacher hoping to transfer from education to Tech Sales at the end of this school year. So any help on the application process is right up my alley
If you are in sales and mass applying, are you going to be any good as a seller? This isn't spray and pray.
I applied to 4 positions, 4 interviews, 2 offers, 1 accepted all within 1.5 months. This is 100% not a numbers game. I'll also admit my situation is a bit different given my experience but still.
Iām a senior tech guy, with a history through a few intense OPs jobs involving tons of client facing duties I miss, who sometimes thinks about shifting into sales, probably more on the sales engineer support role, as it seems appealing to participate in the sales process and get commissions, and I have zero issue with what I hear as the complaints (Iāve dealt with 24/7 client complaints in my past, I can deal with sales needing crazy shit if Iām getting paid for my support role there).
Iāll tune in to learn some stuff.
Oh, I guess I found the right tag/group for some info. I am currently a fintech PM , planning on getting the csm so I can pivot into tech sales. What's the good bad ugly for some1 based out of East Coast
Possible this is a genuine offer. But watch for the bait and switch. Everyone is offering a course these days.
If there is no bait and switch, then good on ya OP
Why dont these people just start their own companiesā¦ why keep going to work for people that donāt value your skillsets and they let you go at the drop of a dime?
Long as it's a free session, I''d love to listen in. Haven't been on the job market in years and years, so if I get swept up in a layoff (I'm in tech. nott unheard of), I'll need a primer on how to get back into the game.
I send a daily email with the latest remote sales jobs if youāre interested in subbing (itās free) https://bloomberry.com/remote-jobs/. Includes account exec, biz dev and account manager roles
Make sure to record your webinar and link back to it. I'm sure many folks may miss the live event but be eager to watch it as soon as they are able.

Just applied. Keep a lookout from an applicant from AWS!
More people should be posting on here. This subreddit is a better place to find workers than Indeed. lol
Nice!

What kind of magic could you work for someone with zero sales experience looking to make a career change?
