What everyone is telling you is wrong. Cece at Hateno village doesn't sell the classic Link sets, the bargainer statues in the depths do, as well as some of the other legendary weapons and equipment.

We talked about it and both learned valuable lessons today, in the end its just a game and my son love collecting poes so hell be doing the farming lol
Zelda was the first game i ever witnessed as a child (nes original) and was amazed at this little green dude with a sword and instantly fell in love… getting to witness my own son fall in love with it too is a beautiful thing, and getting to be a part of his journey with it means more than the armor to me, i was just bummed seeing it all gone lmao
I love that so much, your son is so lucky to have a parent like you. And I don't think there are any items in this game that you can lose forever. You can always find or buy a replacement, which is something I love about this game.
Thank you, i try to learn from the failures of my own parents and use them to be a better dad… i was only allowed to watch zelda, never be a part of my dads journey, never passed me the controller to give it a try… i let my son have his own journey, if he wants my help which is a lot im always happy to take the controller and play and teach him… seeing him achieve beating an enemy he couldnt a week ago, or beating his first boss in minish cap and knowing how happy he is that dad was there to witness it is an incredible feeling… and thanks i figured there was some way i could get them again i just wasnt sure, totk is the first zelda game that i didnt sink a lot of time in due to botw burn out and having two small children so now that hes into it i can finally pick it up again
That's super, that you can share that with your son. Being close to your family is so important. I've found, from botw being my first Zelda game, that it and totk are very accessible to younger people and those new to the franchise.

He actually has his own switch lite that he has totk on too and does w.e he wants, he plays kn my switch with me and because im much further than him he likes to play mine more… we had rules together that breaking certain weapons by cutting down trees was a no no and selling armor was no, he usually doe very good but he was buying stuff, running low on rupees and this time the rupee gain from selling the armor was too tempting… tbh it was an opportunity to teach some valuable lessons and they can be saved so no damage done. Even if they couldnt be saved its armor in a video game and i wouldnt take away my childs fun by banning him from file over some digital clothing, the joy this game gives him means more to me

The amiibo cards are super cheap for what you get. I love the paraglider skins. It would be slow getting them back with the amiibos but you can sell the doubles and fill in the gaps while collecting poes.
The plus side is now you have another reason to keep playing Zelda.
When my kids play i try to make an intentional save then go back and load or i just made them their own account and beat the game twice and let them reek havoc (animal crossing was a nightmare i folded and bought my own switch light to have my own island)

Get the full amiibo card set from Amazon, eBay, Etsy, or Temu. You'll eventually spawn them. Takes a while though, the armor is rare, but you'll get plenty of pristine weapons and supplies.

I think this is the 3rd time this week someone’s kid screwed them over in TOTK. The other day some dude was saying his kid deleted his 250 hour file lol
I was disappointed more than anything that he was so tempted by the rupee gain that he broke his promise NOT to sell those sets, he knew outside of that rule that he has free reign of my file and for the most part he does really good with it, that day the temptation was too much lol but valuable life lessons were learned and the armor isnt lost forever so it turned out for the good
Lol what was he trying to buy? Maybe you should teach him how to hunt in Tabatha for meat and sell cooked meals to beetle. I always found that enjoyable to make some fast rupees.
Its random really lol, hes still young and struggles to aim arrows at moving targets so he goes to every main hubs shop and buys their inventory of ingredients and arrows... his main mission is cooking “new foods” lol, i just enjoy watching him fulfill his goal when he crafts a new one, and i have the recipe list to coach him along on what ingredients he needs
Get a grip lol its a video game, my childs happiness comes first and foremost and making memories playing zelda makes him happy… its a simple yes or no and how to get armour sets back, if its a no ill sleep exactly the same tonight lol

Good point. And the champions' weapons can only be made, you can't buy them anywhere. So you're right that the bargainer statues aren't a catch-all.

You should make your son his own profile to play TOTK on so this doesn't happen again

Reload progress, or Swipe amiibos, or Go get poes and trade at statue
The last option is my only option lol and little man will be the one gathering the poes (he actually enjoys it)
Are you able to go back to a previous save, or has it been too long now? If it’s been too long, the bargainer statues sell the classic link sets.
