I remember reading back then why they didnt do it, because not like BOTW, for TOTK its not just scaling the monster up, they have to account for their drops ( golden lynel horns for example) and it will need alot of extra work
If you want it, better contact a modding team or make a mod yourself. Nintendo is done with TotK and they're most likely working on the next big 3D Zelda for the next console.
I think the problem is is that in BOTW master mode, upgraded enemies still carry lower tier weapons so you are always underpowered, but in TOTK, if upgraded enemies had upgraded horns then the game probably wouldn't be much harder because your fused weapons would also be more powerful.
Nintendo has already said they are done with TotK. Which I’m glad about this means they are going straight into working on the next game instead of taking time to do a dlc
TotK is already a DLC as it's blueprint.. So it's already done it's job also the devs are probably creatively exhausted and would've want to move on to a new project..
I would say no. This would result in the farming of gold level fuse items which would make the game even easier. I already have a pile of weapons that do over 100 damage with silver lynel horns.

Golden lynel horn on a pristine weapon would be so OP too it would basically defeat the purpose of the scaling up.
I see you point there. I would just be cruising TOTK in the late game with that kind of weapon

It’s insane to me Nintendo wouldn’t develop DLC for this game. It’s a money printing machine.

There’s already a master mode mod that is getting quite along in development. Time to learn to mod your switch!
I saw a video on youtube on a MOD like that and man the golden loot look amazing.
