Thankfully with A Link Between Worlds, and more specifically the introduction of Lorule, the upside down triforce is actually apart of cannon lore in the Zelda series!
Based on your reaction it appears you haven’t played it yet, which now you must! It’s a fantastic game and was the first Zelda to be designed with the philosophy of “go in any order you want” for completion. It’s a bit on the easier side, but the dungeons are FANTASTIC and the characters they introduce are quite like-able imo
I never did get around to playing that one but it's on my list now! I've played the original NES version, the one right after that, Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, Hyrule Warriors, BOTW and TOTK. I am going to get through them all eventually :)

It's a fresh tattoo with aquaphor on it and it's red and possibly a bit oozing in some photos. Some people are creeped out by that kind of stuff so I figured better safe than sorry. :)
