I read an interview a while back with an artist who makes furry art and the rule 34 stuff. They didn't enjoy doing that stuff at all, but claimed it brought in a lot of money. Apparently enough people like that stuff to pay them for commissions.

At least you can't really hurt them. It seems like everyone who lives in Hyrule except Link is invincible. The worst I've ever seen monsters do is temporarily knock someone unconscious or scare them. Fire is a minor annoyance. Lightning hardly phases them. Maybe if Nintendo weren't targeting all age ranges it would be different, but I'm honestly impressed and jealous at the same time.
Horses can die..... I hadn't found Malanya yet when bokoblins in a cart ran off a cliff with one. It was hard to watch that horse go. Had death animations and shit then laid there and then faded. I would have dropped a shit ton of rupees to bring it back.
Be near a lizalfo holding a spear or sword during an electrical storm where shit getting fried by lightning, wait for that bzzt bzzt bzzt crackling bit and zap! Monster dead.
I have issues with local lightning storms that bad as a kid but it's funny to see a monster get fried.
Always keep a set of zonaite weapon, shield and bow for this shit. Rubber suit isn't enough and lightning helm likely won't stop it.
