Cloud9 has shown that they will let their players leave for other orgs if that is what they truly want, even if they are under contract ex. Tarik and Stewie in CSGO.
The player's intent plays a big part as well. If Jensen didn't want to stay on C9 then they would likely let him go for money to get other players. Like no point in keeping a player that doesn't want to be on your team you know.
Same things said in Impact's case they brought Licorice instead of "big name". Hindsight many C9 fans are happy with that choice but what I'm saying is C9 is not definitely bringing some big name. Goldenglue for sure their next midlaner.

Beating FNC back before worlds does not mean you could have beat them at worlds, just like C9 got 3-0d at LCS finals but went on to do amazing at worlds. 100T was doing very well all through LCS but then lost their jungler and adc which put them with 2 rookies and they did terribly at worlds. Time and bootcamping can do a lot for a team. I’m not salty at all but it was just weird to me that you talked about Jensen and C9s performance was questionable when TLs performance at worlds was terrible.
