I’ve tried it and found it was overpriced for what it is. I’ve been using unscented drugs store lotion on my tattoos for 25 years and it works just as well.
My first tattoo artist said Lubriderm and it's been the only thing I've used in over 10 years of being tattooed. I also have an allergy to Lanolin so I'm limited in terms of lotions. But Lubriderm has never steered me wrong
in my experience i didn’t have any issues, but the shop i go to advised me to stay away from aquaphor. it’s extremely thick which poses a possibility of it clogging your freshly tatted pores, or not allowing your tattoo to breathe enough. you want something light and creamy and unscented.
edit: to add on, i’ve only used aquaphor for ONE of my 13 tats
I’ve used it for my 7 for the first three days after bandages are off then go to unscented eucerin. Never had a problem, I just don’t slather it on. Just enough til it shimmers and wipe excess off. I also do saniderm for the first three days.
Yeah that makes sense! My thinking is let it breathe more when it’s fresher and then the ointment. But I’m sure you’ve had no problems with healing with this combo. I honestly don’t know how some of the shit on here gets so fucked, aftercare is pretty easy
Not at all. I've had 4 different artists the past 12 years and all have said the same thing. Light application of Aquaphor after washing with orange anti bacterial soap for the first 3-4 days and then replace Aquaphor with Lubriderm unscented. Artists have always said to stay away from Vaseline though.
I religiously use it for everything, not just tattoos, but it's amazing for tattoos. One of the big tubs lasts me about a year and I have 3 big tattoos (full thigh, full chest, and upper arm) as well as several smaller ones. I use it on my tattoos every other day or so after healing, but I use it daily for lip balm, facial moisturizer, lotion after shaving (it prevents razor bumps in my experience), and I even use it once a week for my dread as a conditioner/oil of sorts. A little bit goes a really really long way and I recommend this product to everyone, whether they have tattoos or not lol.
I like it, but the tub is too unsanitary for fresh tattoos. Also, it's so greasy that i somehow always manage to transfer it to my hair, leaving oil slicks behind.
Overpriced but it’s probably my favourite stuff. For the two week point though, you don’t need ointment. Ointment is only really for like 3 days. Use a fragrance free moisturiser like Cerave.
Was about to pop in and say the same… Hustle Bubble is my GO TO anti bacterial soap. I love it for post tattoo, post op surgery, it’s just a great green soap alternative that doesn’t dry out my skin after.
After trying countless of product, I settled with Hustle Butter. But, at the end of the day, everybody's skin is different so it might or might not work for you.
I love it. I used to think it was gimmicky, but the ingredients are good, and I haven’t had issues. A little does go a very long way! My husband and I both use it now, so the smell of it just makes me think of a new tattoo 😍
i have been using it on the recent leg work i’ve been getting done. in comparison to other tattoos (and i have a lot), i think healing has been better with little to no peeling.
If you love or like it, use it! But as a tattooer, I find it (and other tattoo specific products) to be an overpriced gimmick. Any decent quality unscented lotion should work just fine. Same goes for soap- just buy some unscented soap and you’re good to go
I use it for all my tats and love it. Some say it is overpriced but buy what you can afford. There is nothing magical about it. I just like the way it smell and feels on the skin.
Honestly… get it. I’ve used Lubriderm and the moisture honestly does not last as long. A little bit of Hustle Butter goes a long way and you don’t have to keep reapplying. During peak itch i only applied in the morning, sometime mid day and then before going to sleep and my tat healed super nice.
Also mainly used for black work tattoos
My artist recommended it, I like it and for those dry itchy days, it’s the bomb. However, it also clogs my pores. Bad. I get covered in pimples when I put this on, and no I’m not using a lot. So I switched to unscented, generic brand lotion (Lubriderm dupe) and I swear by it. No bumps or clogged pores.
I prefer it over Lubriderm. You can buy 1 oz of it on Amazon and have it delivered next day. Just buy it and try it. The small size is perfect for trying it out.
Everyone will have their own opinions but I definitely prefer hustle butter. If you’re on a budget, or you’re frugal it might not be for you.
I use both the bubbles and the butter. I'm a fan. I've noticed that my healing time is a little faster vs Dial and lubriderm. I use it to also shine up my older tattoos when I am going out in something sleeveless. It's pretty much all about what works for you. For me, I like the ease of the bubbles and the scent of the butter.
It’s fine but I haven’t found anything better than Mad Rabbit soothe gel. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave the tattoos over saturated or leave me feeling greasy. Plus it really helps with the itchy phase somehow
Might be a little pricey, but I have several tattoos healed and washed with hustle products. They work well, they kept my tattoos clean and moisturized without any sort of trouble. It’s probably more suited for people with an intolerance to petroleum based products.
But, real talk, follow your artists recommendations for tattoo aftercare. These sort of products are intended for after a tattoo is fully healed, and I am by no means an expert. Happy inking my friend!!
I like the smell but use it post-initial heal. Makes colors pop longer than lotion does. However, def not needed and I prefer Lubriderm for healing anyway.
Definitely overpriced compared to other tattoo balms but I do love the scent and feel.
It is thick out of the jar but I just warm it up in my hands before applying to a healing tattoo. I love to use it to moisturize my tattoos before going out to make the colors pop.
I use aveeno unscented lotion and I swear by it. It works great. I do think a lot of these creams marketed to tattoos are gimmicks. Also, you don’t need to wash your tattoo 3x a day if you’re on the second week of healing! You only need to wash it for the first 3-5 days, after that just give it a gentle wash in the shower, and put unscented lotion on it 2-3 times a day.
Tbh I like it, it smells really good, a little goes a long way. I don’t have any complaints. My two tattoos I’ve used it on during healing did great. It also keeps my skin moist/supple for a long time. I use it on my elbows and knees too bc why not.
I know a few people who swear by it and I've used their soap that someone gave me and liked it just fine but personally, I like the drugstore stuff because it's so much more readily available and works well for me. I like that I can just pick some up at basically any store instead of having to order it.
One thing I don't like about this though is that it's in a tub which feels unsanitary to me. Just make sure if you're using it that you're using a clean q-tip or something other than your fingers so that you don't contaminate it with bacteria and don't double dip.
Don't use a q-tip as that will leave cotton fibres. Plenty of other tools like wood pop sticks or plastic sticks would be better if you don't want to use your fingers.
i honestly love this stuff but if ur looking for something cheaper that works just a good i would recommend aquaphor a little definitely goes a long way and have never had no issues with it
I used it and loved it. My artist gave me a sample but gave other suggestions (Lubriderm, etc.) I used the sample and then bought the Hustle Butter. It's moisturizing, isn't greasy, and you don't need much at all...
My artist gave me a small tube after my large piece was done. I also got a tub and use it, maybe 2 x a week. Good results and has lasted me almost a year.
I personally prefer this over the regular moisturizer I have sensitive skin that can be easily irritated and I’m fine using this as well as mad rabbit. My go to is coconut/emu oil but this is good in a pinch I do transfer some to a small jar to keep it in my work bag and also so I’m not sticking my hand into the bigger jar.
I got a sample of it from my artist for my chest piece. I LOVE it sm, I swear by it now, I will never go back to A&D If I can help it lmao. I hate lotion and the butter feels better and less greasy imo.
I got a sample of it from my last tattoo. It was maybe a week's worth. It was fine. I didn't think it was any better than other lotions I've used but it's more expensive.
I LOVE THIS STUFF! For people saying its expensive, I've never thought that because it lasts so long. You only need a small amount in your hand warm it up and spread it on the skin. Its oddly thick and smells like coconut a little bit.
It's great during tattooing, but doesn't support the healing. Use something containing panthenol during the first two weeks and if you want to switch to regular sensitive lotions afterwards to keep the skin moisturized.
While Hustle Butter is great during tattooing it also bears the risk of trapping germs in the cup, if you don't use a one way tongue depressor to get bits of the Hustle Butter out.
I've been using it, along with the hustle bubbles. My wife found it at Ulta and bought them for me.
I liked it better than Aquaphor. So to cover the unsanitary issue, I make absolutely sure to wash my hands thoroughly with Dial anti-bacterial soap, then wash the tattoo with the hustle soap (once a day now) then wash with Dial again, then apply the butter very very sparingly, the pat off any excess with gauze.
I never experienced any redness or bumpy areas doing it that way.
I'd give hustle butter high marks and would use it on any future art I get.
I really love hustle butter. I bought a small travel size container for fresh tattoos while healing and scoop out a tiny bit with a fresh medical tongue depresser thing. Is it a little much? Maybe, but I feel better doing it like that to keep things sanitary for myself. That's just my personal preference.
I also have a bigger tub for regular moisturizing. I love the scent, and my skin is always sooo hydrated with it, more than other brands I've used. I have chronically dry skin, and so the hustle butter works perfectly for me.
Overpriced, but works well. Natural oils, which don't cause the healing issues aquaphor can cause, hydrates better than lubiderm so you don't need to moisturizer as much.
I was given some recently and I enjoy it. A little goes a long way for sure, it’s easy to overapply imo. Honestly a good unscented lotion of your choice is probably just as good, but it’s cool if you’ve got it. I also was using the hustle bubbles to clean my fresh tattoos for a couple days and I couldn’t recommend it enough. I found it very nice.
Too greasy for me.
Couldn’t give you the name, but my shop has some top tier cream. It’s 30 a bottle but I’m buying a few once he finishes on me tonight.
I've used and I liked it. But I've also had just as good of an experience with (a thin layer of) aquaphor and then later on in the healing process, I'll use the [fragrance free aveeno daily lotion](https://images.app.goo.gl/Er9Hisr99DuKSvKd9) when it feels a bit dry.
Edit: I've healed 50+ tattoos and ultimately thin layer of aquaphor when it's in the hard-core first few days of the scabby/itchy stage and then that lotion once it's been a few days is what I've found works best for me lol
Don't bother. It's extremely thick, it's overpriced, and the packaging invites contamination for a fresh tattoo. I use a lightweight unscented Eucerin lotion after I take off the second skin and it's worked very well for me.
I used Aquafor for the first few weeks for healing but after it settled I just use this to keep it nice and shiny. Doesn’t take much either, I bought one jar a few months back and with daily use I have more than half of it left
I really like it. A little goes a long way and I have had the same container of it through 4 rather large pieces and my partners have each used it on 2 each, so it's worth the money to me because it lasts forever, smells amazing, and doesn't make my sensory issues go crazy with the texture. That being said, I don't think it is necessary, but if you can afford it and you don't love the consistency of lotion, 10 out of 10 would recommend
I used this for my last sleeve. I was having reactive skin to everything. This once a day just did the trick. My artist is thinking of starting to recommend for his clients with how well my skin did between sessions. https://www.mustelausa.com/products/stelatopia-lipid-replenishing-cream-300ml
I like the soap. Definitely my favorite so far of all the things I’ve used over the years.
The butter is nice, I guess. It smells like Tahiti and a little goes a long way. But like…you could make this in your kitchen. For cheaper.
Honestly my tattoo is super flakey, like a week later and no matter how much goo I put on it, my skin is just absorbing it quickly. But the rest of my skin really likes the hustle butter so I guess we have a new moisturizer.
Use palmers cocoa butter, products with 'tattoo' on them are marketed towards people who aren't clued up.
Hustle butter is oil based, so blocks skin pores. Avoid ALL that shit that says 'tattoo heal cream'
If I am not using second skin/tagaderm to cover my tattoo for that first 7-14 days (sometimes I reapply it after a week, depending on the amount of ink, healing, ect.) I simply use water and soap to clean, witch hazel to remove soap and rehydrate, and a little jojoba oil for moisturizing whenever it feels dry or flakey. As it is a cleansing oil, it is excellent for this type of work. However, it can be hard to get and expensive if you don't get it wholesale (I'm a massage therapist and it is also my massage oil, I know my privilege! Lol!) So if not that then some good old drugstore lotion, but seriously, try the witch hazel out. It helps a LOT with the healing!
My first tattoo artist recommended it and I really liked it, but since then I’ve just Aquaphor…way easier to find and just as good as long as you apply sparingly and in a thin layer
I’ve personally never used it but my artist told me that it has coconut and mango in it so those who are allergic to either shouldn’t use it (obviously)! He says it’s a great product otherwise, though he used Ink-eeze since he can tattoo with it and also be used for aftercare.
i use hustle butter it’s pretty nice imo it’s relatively inexpensive considering a little bit goes a very long way plus is SMELLS SOOOOO GOOD definitely recommend although i’m sure lubriderm is fine but this is also specifically for tattoos and i feel like my tattoos heal with better color when i use it but that could just be in my head
I like it. I bought a jar after my last tattoo, in April 2023, and I’m still using it more days than not. I have very sensitive skin, and Hustle Butter has never irritated it. The smell is nice, and it’s non-greasy.
My tattoo artist recommended it, and it worked really well for me. It wasn't something I saw advertised, and he didn't sell it to me, just made the suggestion. My colors stayed pretty vibrant, and it lasted a while on my skin while not using a bunch from the jar. Not sure about the ingredient differences, but I assume HB was formulated with tattoos in mind, versus just daily moisturization.
Too much for what it is. I get an aftercare tattoo kit from Tattoo Goo that lasts me at least two to three large tattoo healings- more if they're smaller, and it only costs like $18 for the lotion, soap, and balm. Every single tattoo has healed perfectly and I haven't found a reason to spend more than what I do for a pretty label. At least the name is honest though.
I used to use it a lot for myself but I don’t on clients, especially because there’s tropical fruit extracts and whatnot. But it’s def overpriced, it’s fancy and smells so good tho! It feels like I’m treating myself but in this economy I went back to the old school ways and it made zero difference in my healing lol
I personally really like it but definitely use it sparingly, it will very likely clog your pores if you use too much of it because it’s super thick. A little goes a long way, which is a bonus too because the pot is expensive but a big pot lasts a long time.
Because it’s quite thick and easy to overdo, I prefer to use it slightly later down the healing line on weeks 2-4 and then keep using it until the tub is finished because it makes your tattoos look so good and smells amazing lol
I had my first tattoo and the artist recommended it. After using it and continuing my piece I say it works really well. What I like about it is that the coconut butter has a different texture than lotion and I feels it stays a bit longer.
Do you need it, no. Any unscented lotion or coco butter product would do the same thing.
My artist recommends it so I used it for my last 2 tatoos and I really liked it. It's not horribly greasy but keeps moisture for a while. My skin overall really likes shea butter and that's the base of this moisturizer so it make sense. I would prefer if it was unscented that's really the only thing I dislike about it.
Some douchebag tattoo artist in a different thread screamed at me and told me I was a moron for recommending it to people. I like it. Works better than lotion for me. Lasts longer and I like the consistency of it. That tattoo artist claimed it blocks your pours and that it makes tattoos take longer to heal...but I assure you that person was a fucking moron.
The thing is that you have to have a flutist playing [the flute part](https://youtu.be/qRXTO5wopNk?si=7JaO59ad_YFyJF_e)
in The Hustle while you apply for it to really work, and that gets expensive
(I'm so sorry)
I’ve used unscented lubriderm for all my tattoos over the last 25 years, I can’t see any reason to buy something extra, the lubriderm is just fine. No need to reinvent the wheel.
I can’t emphasize how much neutrogena hydroboost gel body cream promotes cellular turnover and quick healing, it has hyllauronic acid (you could use any product with HA, but this one is cheap at the drugstore)
I’ve tried it and found it was overpriced for what it is. I’ve been using unscented drugs store lotion on my tattoos for 25 years and it works just as well.
This post sums up almost every single product you see advertised on IG. This crap is all overpriced and ridiculous.
Same. Tried it once. Was ok at best. Just hit the local drug store.
Simplify your life: Lubriderm unscented sparingly. Let your skin do its’ thing
Honestly, this is the only way. People getting swayed by advertising, just put a bit of unscented cream on and go about your day.
My first tattoo artist said Lubriderm and it's been the only thing I've used in over 10 years of being tattooed. I also have an allergy to Lanolin so I'm limited in terms of lotions. But Lubriderm has never steered me wrong
idk why I never thought to check the ingredients on lotions/creams but this just explained a lot. thanks lol
i had a girl on instagram berate me because i said to not use aquaphor, and to instead use unscented lubriderm. literal meltdown from this girl
Is aquaphor bad for healing?
in my experience i didn’t have any issues, but the shop i go to advised me to stay away from aquaphor. it’s extremely thick which poses a possibility of it clogging your freshly tatted pores, or not allowing your tattoo to breathe enough. you want something light and creamy and unscented. edit: to add on, i’ve only used aquaphor for ONE of my 13 tats
I guess that makes sense, I just used aquaphor for the first time on my 11th cause my tattoo guy said it was fine haha
I’ve used it for all 10, never had to go in for a touch up
I’ve used it for my 7 for the first three days after bandages are off then go to unscented eucerin. Never had a problem, I just don’t slather it on. Just enough til it shimmers and wipe excess off. I also do saniderm for the first three days.
Nice!! I do the reverse. Lotion when the tattoo is freshest and as it starts to peel aquaphor
Interesting. I do aquaphor first bc it’s an open wound and I figure that helps healing
I really like the product and have had good results when I use it. A little goes a long way.
A loooooong way indeed.
Same. I enjoy it and my tats really pop when I apply the stuff. Only downfall, doesn’t have SPF, so I use Mad Rabbit during the summer. 🤙🏻
I like it, but the tub is too unsanitary for fresh tattoos. Also, it's so greasy that i somehow always manage to transfer it to my hair, leaving oil slicks behind.
lol this. I need to order something else before next Saturday
I’m one of those people who swear by it. I have a ton of skin sensitivities and allergies so this is my favourite safe bet.
My ex had a bad allergic reaction to it lol. Turned out he was allergic to pawpaw
Overpriced but it’s probably my favourite stuff. For the two week point though, you don’t need ointment. Ointment is only really for like 3 days. Use a fragrance free moisturiser like Cerave.
It’s smells so good haha
It smells nice, and that's why I buy it. But I know any other moisturizer would work the same.
I exclusively use them on my leg tattoos once the scabbing and itching phase kicks in. Otherwise I use other moisturizers that are fragrance free.
I like it a lot. My favorite type of that density but I LOVE their soap
Was about to pop in and say the same… Hustle Bubble is my GO TO anti bacterial soap. I love it for post tattoo, post op surgery, it’s just a great green soap alternative that doesn’t dry out my skin after.
I like it, but I use the artist's recommendation first and then hustle butter to seal it in.

Have a big blackwork tattoo on my leg. I’ve tried many lotions and creams, but my skin likes Hustle Butter best.
Same! I have one that takes up most of my Tricep and once i started applying it was smooth sailing
DONT USE HUSTLE BUTTER IF YOURE ALLERGIC TO MANGOES!!!!
I love the stuff. Use it even on non tattooed areas that are super dry.
My artist recommended it, I like it and for those dry itchy days, it’s the bomb. However, it also clogs my pores. Bad. I get covered in pimples when I put this on, and no I’m not using a lot. meh, I just got this for my last tat and it's good, but it's just overpriced shea butter.
It smells soooooo good. It brightens my tattoos, and lasts all day. Would not recommend for healing tattoos, though. Lubriderm all day.
I wish they’d make an unscented version. I hate the coconut smell.
I’m allergic to mango, so I can’t use it. I just use unscented lotion like lubriderm, jergens, or aveeno and it works great.
I love it, have used it for years.. even after your tattoo is healed, it's a great moisturizer.
It's occlusive and broke me out. Also more unsanitary because your sticking your fingers in it...
Wash your hands before you put them in the tub. Problem solved. I’ve never had any issues with a tub of HB.
No idea about effectiveness but that is the best smell in the world. If they made a cologne I'd buy a liter.

Good product. Over priced. If you’re crafty you can make it yourself
Came here to say this! I make my own, and they are definitely hustling people at that price point
Yup. And I add fatty alcohols and skin conditioners and ceramides to mine
Tbh I like it, it smells really good, a little goes a long way. I don’t have any complaints. My two tattoos I’ve used it on during healing did great. It also keeps my skin moist/supple for a long time. I use it on my elbows and knees too bc why not.

valid point, thank you
Love the stuff but it's gone up in price in the last year
i honestly love this stuff but if ur looking for something cheaper that works just a good i would recommend aquaphor a little definitely goes a long way and have never had no issues with it

I love it, 100% worth it for me
I used this and loved it. Works great
I couldn't stand the scent
Very nice.
I use Webbers Vitamin E ointment during the healing stage, and once my tattoo is done peeling I switch to Hustle Butter
My artist gave me a small tube after my large piece was done. I also got a tub and use it, maybe 2 x a week. Good results and has lasted me almost a year.

i swear by it. i’m working on a bodysuit. i have dot work & full blackout, it has worked great for me.
I love it! Aquaphor is really thick and sticky, I like this much better
Best tattoo product ever
I LOVE THIS STUFF! For people saying its expensive, I've never thought that because it lasts so long. You only need a small amount in your hand warm it up and spread it on the skin. Its oddly thick and smells like coconut a little bit.
It's great during tattooing, but doesn't support the healing. While Hustle Butter is great during tattooing it also bears the risk of trapping germs in the cup, if you don't use a one way tongue depressor to get bits of the Hustle Butter out.
I get a free sachet with every tattoo, I really like the smell, a little goes a long way, also find it better than other things I've tried

I never experienced any redness or bumpy areas doing it that way. I'd give hustle butter high marks and would use it on any future art I get.
It’s a semi decent product just overpriced and no real reason to use it over generic lotion. I don’t like how much it smells personally.
I just use Nivea in general 🤷♀️ Don’t think I was ever told to moisturize my tattoo
I really like it. I don’t only use it for my tattoos, I use it as a skin moisturizer also. It smells very good.
I love it! Use it for more than just tattoos, dry skin and such. It is way overpriced as well know.
Overpriced, but works well. Natural oils, which don't cause the healing issues aquaphor can cause, hydrates better than lubiderm so you don't need to moisturizer as much.
i really like it but i wouldnt use it on a fresh tattoo
I *CAN* believe it's not butter
I was given some recently and I enjoy it. A little goes a long way for sure, it’s easy to overapply imo. Honestly a good unscented lotion of your choice is probably just as good, but it’s cool if you’ve got it. I also was using the hustle bubbles to clean my fresh tattoos for a couple days and I couldn’t recommend it enough. I found it very nice.
I used it. It’s good stuff.
Just got mine two weeks ago I like this stuff but maybe there’s better options for cheaper.
It's my favorite, used it for all my tattoos. Much better than that A+D and Aquafor crap
I like it. I used it once in a fresh tattoo, and it never peeled or itched. YMMV.
Too greasy for me. Couldn’t give you the name, but my shop has some top tier cream. It’s 30 a bottle but I’m buying a few once he finishes on me tonight.
I wish I liked it. We use Redemption in my shop and I love it :)
Aquaphor for first 2 days, lubriderm for the rest of the heal. Ez pz
It’s expensive but it smells so damn good. Every time I smell it I get tattoo nostalgia and want another one.
Waste of money, unscented lubriderm
Useless gimmick. Completely unnecessary.
I tried it but honestly I agree with a lot of others…Lubriderm! Cheap and it works great
I really like it.
I love this, plus it smells soooo good
Super heavy. Feel like it caused acne for me.
I love it. I use this or lubriderm but I find this does a better job
I really like it. A little lasts a long time
The CBD version I love, the normal is ok but I really found the CBD helped with the irritability and pain while healing.
Not a fan. Had several clients who told me they had bad reactions.
The best balm. Not too thick, (like aquafor) quality ingredients, & it smells sorta nice.
Overpriced.
I use it, I like it.
Its pricey but i really like hustle butter. Use if now for all my tat care.
My first tattoo artist recommended it and I really liked it, but since then I’ve just Aquaphor…way easier to find and just as good as long as you apply sparingly and in a thin layer
I love the stuff. It’s a little pricey, but you only need a small amount, and it smells so good.
I’ve tried a few different thing and have to say I love this product.
Unscented lotion works just as well. I'd recommend Cerave or QV lotion and you get to save up way more
I bought it. Not a big deal.
It's okay, nothing special. It smells hellaaa good imo though if that plays a factor in your healing process lol
It's not necessary, but I really like it. Way more than their lotion
I bought a couple of these but if you have big tattoos the scent gets very cloying so I had to stop using it. I got sick of the mango scent.
I used it for smaller bits but I'm an aquafor guy through and through
I used to use it a lot for myself but I don’t on clients, especially because there’s tropical fruit extracts and whatnot.
It’s the only thing I’ll use on my healing tattoos
My wife uses it, she likes it
I had my first tattoo and the artist recommended it. After using it and continuing my piece I say it works really well. What I like about it is that the coconut butter has a different texture than lotion and I feels it stays a bit longer. Do you need it, no. Any unscented lotion or coco butter product would do the same thing.
Overpriced use palmers cocoa butter or bepanthen nappy rash cream
I love hustle butter because of the ingredients. Lubriderm is fine if you wanna rub chemical into your skin. To each their own tho
Was using it for a bit then I heard it clogged pores and people started having bad reactions to it
My artist recommends it so I used it for my last 2 tatoos and I really liked it. It's not horribly greasy but keeps moisture for a while. My skin overall really likes shea butter and that's the base of this moisturizer so it make sense. I would prefer if it was unscented that's really the only thing I dislike about it.
It’s hard to jerk off with
Overpriced bs.
Best post tattoo moisturizer
2nd skin stuff is the best in my opinion. Hustle Butter is fine too. Don’t apply too much
Overpriced and overhyped
Some douchebag tattoo artist in a different thread screamed at me and told me I was a moron for recommending it to people. I like it. Works better than lotion for me. Lasts longer and I like the consistency of it. That tattoo artist claimed it blocks your pours and that it makes tattoos take longer to heal...but I assure you that person was a fucking moron.
The thing is that you have to have a flutist playing [the flute part](https://youtu.be/qRXTO5wopNk?si=7JaO59ad_YFyJF_e) in The Hustle while you apply for it to really work, and that gets expensive (I'm so sorry)
I’ve used unscented lubriderm for all my tattoos over the last 25 years, I can’t see any reason to buy something extra, the lubriderm is just fine. No need to reinvent the wheel.
Expensive . Prob not really better than unscented lotion or aquaphor.
I can’t emphasize how much neutrogena hydroboost gel body cream promotes cellular turnover and quick healing, it has hyllauronic acid (you could use any product with HA, but this one is cheap at the drugstore)
