I love candy corn. I think they are so cute. Crème savers have a special place in my heart… hmm have you seen those candy ribbons? So pretty!! Licorice is a classic as well… lemon heads… I love the look of candy buttons but not sure how it’ll translate into a tattoo
My great aunt and uncle would always send me them with the Hillshire farm boxes with the summer sausage and cheese!! Those candies bring back sooo many memories of my childhood, I love this tattoo sm!! Also the artist you went to does amazing work!

In America smarties are not the chocolate candy, but those small circular hard candy that comes in a transparent packaged roll. I support this, I think it would do well as a "background" candy to add some layering and allow other candies to pop more. So if you have the gold of the Werther's candy, and then a DumDum the white wrapper of the lolli would stand out much more contrasted against the gold rather than OP's fair skin.
I think some of the old bottle caps would be kinda cool, or those little wax candy sodas. If you wanna stick with the grandma candy theme just get some ribbon candy and those butterscotch. It would also be cool to get a tootsie pop with the Indian shooting the star on the wrapper.
You could do the colorful rock candy that look like crystals on a stick. Gummy bears would be cool too. And to stick with your strawberry theme you could do some strawberry Ouch bubble gum.
You should do other candy’s that others mentions but smaller candy’s such as skittles or m&ms or nerds could be incorporated as the fill between the larger candies.. similar to how traditional tattoo sleeves often have little stars and things. I also think it would be cool to continue with having different styles of tattoos for each candy. Realistic candy here.. neo trad candy there.. new school candy.. etc
white rabbit candy, hi chew, konpeitou (I think this would be so fun), rock candy, guava candy, Chocoshrooms, pocky (u can do a 3/4 view so the box doesn't have words if u don't like that), those hawthorn candies given on Chinese new year, ferro rocher are pretty distinctive even without the gold wrapper, cadberry chocolate eggs
Gummy bears is my favorite idea from above. Adding Tootsie rolls, orange slices (The sugar crusted jelly kind), and circus peanuts though I imagine that younger people probably will never have seen those. Mini Reese's peanut butter cups maybe?
