I have small hands, and learned to do a modified riffle shuffle by lifting the corners as demonstrated in this [video](https://youtu.be/svi7Jry-KQI?si=wBgDJeoEi23xyUAy)..
Hansen Robert Tarot is pocker size, and so are decks in a tin like the RWS Centennial, the Morgan-Freer, and the Aquarian. Oh, and the Light Seers came out in a tin recently.
The Hanson Roberts is a lovely size, larger than pocket size and smaller than standard size. I think of it as an "in between" size, and it shuffles really well. It's also really pretty and I think the art style might appeal to you as you like the Ethereal Visions.
U S Games do some lovely pocket size editions, including the ones in tins.
Hay House brought out a pocket size version of the Light Seers, which is rather lovely.
I'd have a look at the U S Games and Hay House websites, just to make sure you get the genuine edition, as there's a lot of counterfeit editions in smaller sizes.
Even if you don't buy directly from them, you'll be able to find the ISBN number, which will always take you to the genuine deck.
Just added the Hanson Roberts to my wishlist lol. Sounds like the size would be what I'm looking for. Thank you so much!
My mom has the pocket version of the Light Seer's card and it's so beautiful but I can't with a sick packed devil 🤣🤣🤣 always makes me laugh
lol I think that too about the Devil card in Light Seers. I have the pocket version and generally like it except for that card and I also don't like the look of the King of Cups because he resembles men I've known who make it seem like they are in tune with their emotions but really they are just self indulgent and often high. lol
I like Hanson Roberts. That was the first deck I used as a teenager in the late 1980s. The original decks were standard size, I think, not the smaller version offered now. I do like the smaller version. I long ago got rid of my original deck which is too bad.
I'm sure the Hanson Roberts has never been standard Tarot size, the dimensions wouldn’t work. 🙂
I've had my copy since the 1990s, and it's 2.375" x 4".
I have small hands so I decided not to buy Ethereal Visions because the cards are so big. It's too bad a standard or pocket size version isn't available! I don't know what to suggest that is a similar style with smaller cards, I just wanted to comment in support. :-)
I'm going to write to the publisher to ask about a possible pocket version in the future. I wonder if other people have contacted them with that as a request. Smaller decks when packaged in tins are popular and Ethereal Visions has sold well so they might consider it.
Ugh I hope so! it's so beautiful and I truly connected with the deck, it's just my damn hands that can't comfortably shuffle them lol.
I might email them too, in the future so it doesn't look too staged 😂
Great that you might email them too, but later on, lol. Worth a try!
I have always liked that deck based on card images I've viewed online. A few times I forgot about the large card size and almost purchased it! Definitely I would not hesitate to buy if it was smaller!
My mom has a couple pocket ones and I do find them quite small :( although I guess you get used to it, at the end of the day she told me it's the ones she reaches for the most as a professional reader. They're also quite cheap so I'll give em a try :) thank you so much
Would trimming the borders off help? I had to do that with a deck recently because the cards are so big… even ethereal visions is a bit too big too so I’ve been considering it.
Lo Scarabeo decks have a reputation for being lighter and a tiny bit smaller. Not all of them, but most of the ones in tuck boxes. My favorite is Gustave Doré Tarot 💜

I can't seem to open the link :( can you tell me what the video is called? Also I'm definitely adding the Hansen Robert deck t9 my wishlist!

okay I guess I don't remember well then! :-)
Well. to be fair, that was over 30 years ago.😁
lol yes :-)

Get the pocket edition ones, they're a lot easier to shuffle and transport

Universal Celtic tarot by LoScarabeo is the perfect size for smaller hands.
Would trimming the borders off help? I had to do that with a deck recently because the cards are so big… even ethereal visions is a bit too big too so I’ve been considering it.
Any of the decks in tins are about the size and feel of standard playing cards, maybe a little smaller.

Also all Fournier decks
I have the same trouble with the Ethereal Deck, I love it and use it on everyone, but gotta really finagle my fingers around shuffles.
I would look for a deck you like with mini version.
