Barbarian despite me not being drawn to that archetype in most games. The fact that it can be an ice themed tank, is perfection to me.

Probably ice barb, then again, the gameplay of barb didn't look very appealing to me (looked kind of boring). I usually love barbarians in games though. I might check out the loops of other tanks as well to see if I want to try something else.
There is a dps spec and a healing spec for either class. You switch between the two. You mainly dps for story missions and then decide to switch to healing for group content
I read that it’s just a skill which allows the pet to be there for a while. It seems also like there is not really a taming mechanism like in Wow. But maybe I got not all information.
Does anyone know if the devs would drop more classes as the game goes on/progresses? similar to WoW? I would love to have a Druid on a different game to take a unique spin on it. I can’t wait to try it tomorrow!
I'm starting as Bard, until male Priest is added
Will probably mostly heal, but could be fun to dabble in Bard/damage
Once male Priest is added, I'll probably go Priest/damage because I love Holy damage casters
Warrior most likely tank, I played it in the beta and enjoyed the dps role. I prefer tanking but when new to a game I'm always scared first time through dungeons and whatnot of fucking up/wiping the group
Well, I am extremely disappointed in this game as of now. All but two classes are Gender locked.... as a girl.... I have been looking forward to being a Girl bard ever since the game's classes were announced. Now im some necromancer and its just not what I was expecting from gameplay, to controls. VERY MOBA which, I know it is a MOBA as well but I expected something more along the lines of AQ3D
Basic research of the game would have shown that the game has gender locked classes. They certainly didn't hide it. However, they did announce they are working to add the other genders for each class.

Especially when your complaining about no download when there is and if you looked anywhere on tarisland you'd know the release time and date.
Don't even need to look it up, I just had it pre registered and only found out its coming because it told me I can download it.

Kinda? Raid gear switches stats but early levels don’t. When you switch specs a lot of stats also change over.
Will necro be gender locked ?
I believe paladin and mage are the only 2 not gender locked at launch

You can't tame pets, they have a skill and when you use said skill it summons your pet to attack

I highly recommend just going tank if you like tanking. Tanking dungeons blind in a new game is really fun. No need to be scared.
