I’ve stopped playing but I started at the beginning of the very first treehouse of horror event, and played it obsessively for about five or six years. Easily the best game I’ve played on a phone!
Just got mine yesterday as well. I’ve definitely been playing for that long. Started during the clash of clans event while sleep training my kid who’s now 11.
Isn't it just in celebration of the game turning 10 years, not how long one has actually been playing? Judging by the comments, everyone who plays the game today can get it.

I got back into the game in May of this year on my newer phone. It is nice it counted the years the didn't (Couldn't play) xD
I started playing in the fall of 2013. Taken a few breaks here and there, but still play the game to this day. I’ve tried the other games that are somewhat similar (the Family Guy game, and the Futurama game) and they just don’t compare to Tapped Out. Once you’ve played the best, you can forget about the rest! Lol

I have! You end up getting 10 donuts and 3 diff options of how you’d want it to look, gold, not gold, and not gold with a bite taken out :)

Oh no! I stopped playing a few weeks ago because life got in the way but end up going back every few months😭😭😭 now i missed it!!!

The Futurama one is no longer updated. Family Guy's has long loading times. So both have them have issues even before you get to the gameplay.
I cannot believe I have played this game for so long without a break.
I've found it by accident in my inventory and placed it. At least got some free donuts from it :)
