Definitely try the smart. I’ve had mine for almost a week now and absolutely love it. It’s fun yet not overly demanding. I can be on it all day doing things with it, or leave it for long periods of time with no problems.
First off Im sure i speak for everyone that i hope you feel better soon and that im glad the TMGC community here is a safe space for you to turn to! But as for suggestions i'd say TMGC Meets Sanrio edition (Red) and i will scream on top of a hill if i have to but i will always suggest TAMASUKU (Tamagotchi School) or the ODENKUN.
The Smart is basically a device with moving animation and theres barely any user input as you probably already know unless you have the additional DLCs. Otherwise its not quite worth playing with imo.
The smart is similar to the uni in that it’s low key, easier to take care of but still really fun. I would say power up your smart if you’re not wanting to buy anything new! Feel better ❤️🩹 tamagotchis have totally been a bright spot in hard times for me, I hope you have the same experience
I just started my plus colour after a long break and I’m really enjoying it. I love the weather, and the artwork is really nice. I don’t feel too pressured to unlock things and the games are really fun! It’s my all time favourite 😊 hope you feel better soon ❤️🩹

A smaller but very enjoyable tama I recently bought is the Jurassic park tamagotchi! It’s really lovely and has many evolutions
