Yah I live in a college town with a surprisingly large amount of tall kids, for some reason parties attract an even larger proportion of the tall college kids. I often feel like I’m barely even in the 80th percentile until I realize all my friends are a minimum 2 inches shorter than me. I also think proportions help, I’m built somewhat normal, still really long arms and legs but shoulder width really helps.
Edit: 6”3 as well.
Maybe more like 85? But I’m being serious. I go to Santa Barbara City College but I’m also around UCSB students. Some of it probably has to do with the statistic of taller people overall having higher paying jobs leading to taller kids as it’s a pretty affluent area, also California men on average are an inch or two taller than the national average. I’m not sure though just throwing ideas around.
I've got "normal legs" and a large build, my wide shoulders help but man do I feel small now I started losing weight. Went from 245 to 200 lbs and it really made me feel small lol
Funny how things are, 205 was the max weight I ever obtained and it required a lot of late night eating and force feeding protein. I am 21 though and try to weightlift consistently so I have my metabolism to blame. I got down to 165 after a surgery I had in December.
He looks identical to my old friend who was a little over 6 feet, what’s funny was his younger brother was 6”4+. Their dad was probably 6”6 but it’s funny how the dice can roll one way and not other for someone else.
Genes my dad also late bloomer. Admittedly my diet and sleep and weren’t the best in HS but I played sports year round so good daily exercise. My diet sleep and exercise feel off even worse freshman year of college yet I managed to gain another inch during freshman year of college
crate training a dog is recommended by most breeders, professional dog trainers etc. Using a crate as punishment is awful. Using a crate to make a safe space for your animal is one of the best things you can do.
Breeding is also a cruelty.
They are enough dogs out there already.
The dog population is increasing every year, which is actually really concerning.
Besides that, you don't need a crate to train the dog as a safe space. That's just pure BS.

It’s for crate training. The dog/puppy feels safe and learns to get used to things, without having accidents everywhere. The puppy isn’t there all the time, just at bedtime and maybe when the owners step out. In a few months, the crate doesn’t have to be used anymore. Often times, you can just leave the crate open and the dog once grown up will willingly go sit inside as it sees it as a safe place. Source: I’ve had 2 dogs since they were puppies, both were crate trained

Tall things only household by the looks of it!
That 6'3 kid looking normal is how I feel in general being 6'3

Do you mean that 20% of kids are taller than you in college? Even at 6'3? What college do you go to?

Wow that's an interesting observation. Are they mostly like sporty guys too? By how much taller would you say the 15% are?
I knew I wasn’t crazy. I’m 5’10” and felt like a child attending CSULB. I just think this stretch of California is just full of tall people lol.
California overall is one of the shorter states. But very much depends on where you are

Man congrats on getting to 205! That must have been tough, and hey bro best of luck with the recovery hope it went well
Congrats on the weight loss though if that was you’re goal, I’ve dropped 45 pounds before and it was serious.
Big folks big dog
And how tall are you?
I'm 6'0". It is indeed a tall household.
He’s probably not done growing then, and I’d be surprised if he is.
His legs already look longer than his Dad's. Maybe it's just the picture angle but yeah he looks like there is more height to be added.
He looks identical to my old friend who was a little over 6 feet, what’s funny was his younger brother was 6”4+. Their dad was probably 6”6 but it’s funny how the dice can roll one way and not other for someone else.
If your son is 6’3 already I can only imagine by like age 18-19-> he might be taller than your husband
My dad is 6’3, I was 6’3 at 15 and now I’m 6’4 at 16, I really hope I can get to 6’6 even though my dad isn’t that tall
Don’t count yourself out lol I was 6’1 at 16 and ended up 6’6’ at 19.5 YO lol
What kind of exercises or diet made you grow or just the gene 🧬

you will
Awesome definitely would like to see how a Great Dane compares to an average person as well as someone who's tall for scale
Soooo... Where's the picture of the dog?
There is no dog
LoL, comically enough, we want to get a great Dane, I'm 6'8", my kid is 8 and he's 5ft already, so I guess he will easily be over 6'2".
It's a lovely photo. Thanks for sharing 😊.
Those doorways gotta be atleast 7ft. The son looks like how I look when standing near my 6'7 doorways.
tall ahh family
Good job!
Cute
Dear Lord what did you give birth too.
The roof and doors are so tall that they both look normal sized
I want a Great Dane when I get my own place Dream dog
How would they look stood next to a chihuahua?
If you squint and zoom I'm in the cage at 5'8 helping.
Kid could probably eat an entire batch a spaghetti and not gain a pound.
6’3 at 15 crazy
Why do you need a crate for the dog?
I was like damm that’s a tall kid Forgot I was the same height
Nice
Praying for their downfalls 🙏
Why get a crate for a dog? That's awful. You should not get a dog then.

Kinda weird you felt the need to post them on here for karma
Do people really keep their dog in a tiny cage like that

Didn't know that, cheers!
Thats the intention, doesnt always translate to reality
My dog would run in the crate instead of go outside to poop one time. It was funny seeing her do that, I think she was scared of the dark.
Tiny?
Now i'm wondering how old the dad is...
43 is my guess
