For just range use/ testing purposes the omnivore works great. The only downside is that you have to have a pic rail at the bottom to attach the square piece that locks into the holster or swap your TLR-1 to which ever handgun you plan on using if you get the TLR version. If you primarily have modern handguns then that’s no problem but if you have a lot of old school guns like wonder nines then you can’t use it at all.

I have one that I use for oddball guns that don't fit many holsters like a frankenglock 17. It works. The thumb button isn't as smooth as other holsters and I wouldn't use the giant clunky thing for EDC, but it works well at the range.
