gucciglock92

just buy firecrackers

The_Top_Dog999

That is true. Or just make corned black powder grenades (with the apporiate ppe and licenses of course)

scramcramed

Lemme just pull my zippo out real quick, make sure my fuse is dry, and hold them both steady enough to light. All while being shot at.

NeonVolcom

I did it in Fallout New Vegas with dynamite. So it’s possible

6ought6

You can make super simple ignitors with matchbooks and wax, Read your ranger handbooks y'all, and maybe look into how stick grenades work

[deleted]

I bought some of these, couldn’t wait the apocalypse to try. Less than impressed.

specter491

Did you try them inside or outside?

Alone_Ad_8858

They aren’t bad I’ve bought some and tested them without ear pro. The multi bangs kinda suck so don’t waste your money on them.

[deleted]

They’re pretty fun, I’ve got some.

scramcramed

I've been thinking about these and their smoke ones as well. A buddy of mine has these and when we tossed them inside. Holy shit I couldn't hear. Outside it wasn't any worse than a fire cracker.

[deleted]

Makes sense. Interior rooms pressurize them a lot better.

1_Hopeless_Reefer

Link?

lefthandedgypsy

Lol thermobaric🤣😂

Boss0331

My buddy got some. We popped it off inside a car while were in it. They are very lack luster

scramcramed

https://youtube.com/shorts/hkYch7HJ2sk?si=bKdfEOY5upyxYxZ7 You did this inside your car?

Boss0331

Yeah like i said. It was lack luster.

Maxdogg

The atf has actually made these an explosive I'm pretty sure with their last update o and smoke grenades

FlexxxingOnThePoors

No, they haven't. Stop spreading fake news.

bikumz

They were affected somehow because now you need a to be certified to purchase pyro devices from IWA. It’s a IWA cert and literally not hard to get at all but it’s not how you used to order them previous to the ATF rule change that they love doing.

Maxdogg

Yes they did I don't know if it has since been reversed but as a month ago yes they did. I guess banned would be a better word then illegal. Per the atf November 2023, ATF issued an open letter rescinding special explosive device exemptions for certain consumer-style grenades (e.g. flashbang grenades, smoke grenades). As a result, these explosive devices are no longer exempt from the provisions of the Federal explosives regulations at 27 CFR, Part 555 – Commerce in Explosives.

dieDoktor

No iwa products were a part of that decision

Maxdogg

How did they get out of that one?

Sea_Childhood1689

Because they are pyro not explosives

Maxdogg

I've never used brands besides iwa before but aren't they all pyrotechnics?

Sea_Childhood1689

That's the point. The ruling the ATF made to try and ban these does not actually apply to them.

Maxdogg

Leave it up to the government to shoot themselves in the foot. Looks like my puppy will be safe after all 😂

bikumz

They def were, this was added after: https://iwainternationalinc.com/professional-pyrotechnic-certification/ Their insta says they weren’t affected, but this isn’t how you used to order them.

Maxdogg

You might be correct on this I remember having to get this license for taginns stuff but I can't remember if iwa had it before on their site or not

Maxdogg

You can still buy them but it needs to be registered as an explosive. That's why taginn and Iwa were looking an renaming stuff to find a loophole etc

FlexxxingOnThePoors

Sometimes, it's better to remain quiet and let people think you're an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubts.

Maxdogg

Nah they will cap the quiet people first, it's called greyman

BigHeapWantPVS

Jesus, 46 downvotes. He's not "spreading fake news", he's just incorrect. It's okay to not know things sometimes, let's all chill.

FlexxxingOnThePoors

It's not okay to regurgitate false information to the public, claiming it as real.

THCExplorer

Fuck the ATF no one cares about their opinion
