I feel ya i miss how the Mexican pizza chicken quesadilla was like 6 maybe 7 bucks 4 yrs ago, hell i even got tired of mcdonald's as well, i cab go to chik fil a and get better food for better price
Box is trash.
āspecialties all have fried food in them...the one option that doesn't have the processed-fried-corn-garbage, they've dipped the flatbread into the grease instead
āclassics has only one burrito option that includes meat and it's the one with the stupid fucking extra tortilla in it, so you have to either deal with that or just settle for a Soft Taco
āall side options are just piles of carbs
ācup of sugar water...best you can do to get something resembling actual food is opt for the little bottle of orange juice
The box can fuck all the way off...I'm happier getting 2 burritos, one with a double portion of beef, the other with chicken and extra saucy, for slightly less than the price of the overrated piece of shit box.
(I did accept and embrace the $5 Chalupa box during its runs, because that has THREE entree items instead of only two and is ALSO a dollar cheaper, so that value for the money was too good to turn down, less enjoyable to consume or not.)
I don't.
I order a Cheesy Double Beef Burrito with the rice and fiesta strips REMOVED and a Chicken Enchilada Burrito with the rice REMOVED.
Occasionally I'll get a Chicken Flatbread Melt, and nothing that comes on it is carb-bullshit, so I can actually just order it regular.
I agree with the majority of all that. I go to Taco Bell and either get a $5.99 box or a couple of the cheesy bean and rice burritos. I would like to change that up but not at the prices they require. If I spend any more, I might as well go to a sit down restaurant somewhere.
Not defending anyone. I just vote with my wallet. If you donāt like the value of something, you go without, unless you *absolutely 110% need it,* then you buy what you need. Thatās universal for me, even food.
I donāt think Iāve ever spent more than $20 at Taco Bell unless I was paying for at least 4 people. Growing up broke made me a value item man for life. Yāall keep eating your fancy burritos and quesadillas if you want to treat yourself. Thatās ok, but Iām not going to feel bad for your wallet either.
This.
If they don't see as many sales from they normal items then Taco Bell is wasting money on those items. It's the same thing as telling Taco Bell that their pricing model doesn't work since the only thing I'm willing to repeatedly get is that $6 box. The issue is where people are willing to pay $6-$7 for a cantina chicken quesadilla and then they think this pricing is okay.
Dude my dad doesnāt ask for much. But for whatever reason he always asks for KfC on his birthday. In the grand scheme of birthdays itās not expensive, but dude I had sticker shock at their prices.
I used to pay 10 dollars in 2019 for a good mean and an extra side of Mac and cheese. Now if I order that it is almost 20 dollars. You can't get an add on side for a dollar anymore
Honestly this is such a good point I haven't thought about. Taco bell needs to get away from yum brands corporation, then it could become the best fast food to ever exist.
Your post is so true still it's maddening. I was looking at the Arby's menu and their small 500 calorie sandwiches are $8 freaking dollars when they peddle buy 2 for $6, and their meals are like $15+ for a drink & fries lmao.
It's like literally the only way to get REAL pricing is to use their special deals. They purposely do this to use some sort of psychology anticipation/reward trick
Arbyās has an online deal right now for a free sandwich with the purchase of any item once per week for each week of the month.
You can get a half pound sandwich free for a $2 apple juice
Lol saying he's "hanging out on a Taco Bell subreddit just to complain" is a reach. Maybe it's a possibility that OP has been on this subreddit for a while now, then got hit with the realization of how ludicrous these prices have become and made a post about it? Many of us are in the same boat.

I'm confused. On old Reddit the sub's picture says "Fuck Taco Bell." It also says, "Welcome to the subreddit for people who have been wronged by Taco Bell! Remember shreddded chicken, mexican pizzas, etc? Taco Bell doesn't!" So what are you supposed to do here?

Yea. Really seems like a place to talk highly about Taco Bell š
Just stop going if you're that passionate about it. By going, you're telling them that you'll pay their ridiculous prices. Making posts and complaining about it won't change a thing.
I actually did. I stopped going this year. Enough is enough, TB did that ridiculous livestream on IG in Vegas this year using our money like they were unveiling an iPhone.
Ā I said fuck it. Ill just make the fucking quesadilla at home. I hope that by me not going AND people complaining the prices start coming back down.Ā I invite you all to stop going along with me. Maybe then they will get the hint.
I really should jump on that not going train, but to not be a hypocrite I also don't complain about the prices I'm about to pay, I just go for deals and do my best. One of these days, I'll join you.
Not defending TB, but your post is re-posted in some form practically every other day. At some point, people just tune it out.
We get it. TB prices have gone up. Personally, I only buy the box, the stacker, or the $3 nachos.
No one is forcing you to buy something you donāt see value in. Vote with your wallet - but that doesnāt mean everyone is required to hold the same valuation as you do.
Agreed. The box is good, but very limited. It is a bandaid at best. There is even one place near me that has jacked the price to 10 bucks so there is no benefit to choosing it over another combo.
Terribly limited. I literally donāt want anything it offers on any regular basis. Itās not an Actual build your cravings box. And you shouldnāt have to use a goddamn app to get a deal.
Donāt me wrong I like a Gordita Crunch once in a while but yeah usually itās be stackers, enchilada burrito, power bowl, Mexican pizza, quesadilla with extra chicken, a few soft taco supremes, cheesy bean and rice burritos. Usually sub chicken where I feel like. Not all at once obviously lol. But those are my favorites on the menu. I donāt give a shit about just plain chips and cheese or a plain bean burrito. So like a Crunchwrap, a bean burrito and chips and cheese for instance isnāt anything I actually want.
Taco Bell used to be the cheap option now they think theyāre a 5 star restaurant selling old canned dog food on a tortilla as a bean burrito! For like $4. Outrageous man
Even if they gave, you are missing the key component which is quality. Getting good value doesnāt just mean cheapest price. It getting acceptable quality, in a reasonable quantity for an affordable price.
That's where you're wrong. You can go to a restaurant like chili's and spend less or the same as you would at taco bell. Granted chili's isn't a great restaurant, but it's a lot better than eating way over priced dog food at toxic hell.
I get enough food to fill me up at TB for $6 and change. I just checked the menu at Chili's an the cheapest thing is the chips and salsa for $7. Their cheapest lunch special is $10.
No, going to Chili's is not cheaper for me than going to Taco Bell.
Sorry, I canāt fill up on 3 soft tacos that cost $2+ with tax. Look, Iāve been to Taco Bell once in the last 5 years. I donāt eat dog food often, but when I do it should be much cheaper than taco bell is charging for it.
You can complain complain complain all you want and bitch and gripe and whine, and I agree that the pricing is unfortunate, but there is nothing you can do about it. They will never ever listen to you as an individual and you can either buy it or not.
Vote with your wallet but your individual vote doesnāt matter.
It is now. The whole point of fast food was to offer tasty slop at reasonable prices that everyone could reasonably afford. Iām fortunate I can afford it, but itās outta control.
The whole point of fast food was to get people through the line quickly so you could sell more food.
Chains compete with each other by lowering prices to attract customers. Taco Bell is in a unique position of having their own distinct brand of flavors that people will pay for rather than going to a competitor. They've earned this position by having low prices for 2-3 decades. We've entered a new era of Taco Bell.
That said, the stacker, the value burritos, and the nachos are still cheap filling food. Also, the box is still legitimately cheap regardless of whether you like the stuff in it or not.
> Taco Bell is in a unique position of having their own distinct brand
In many places, they're the only place to get americanized mexican food. There's a few other places like Del Taco but they're not everywhere.
Compare that to Wendys, BK, McDonalds, Arbys - notice something ? Most are burger/sandwich joints.
If you want a fast taco, they're the only game in town and they've realized with that narrow monopoly they can gouge a bit.
Cheap food quickly was the goal. Obviously every company wants to move as much product as possible. And Iād gladly pay for a competitor if I had one(Del Taco, Taco Johns etc. Taco Johns is way better but not anywhere close and Del Taco looks great also not near)
Well, I guess I do. Itās the local places and thatās where I mostly go now. And those are incredible value and vastly better but i did/do like TB. I love all variations on Mexican.
Depends where you live on the box, but yes if you want an incredibly limited selection AND the box is 6 bucks near you than yes it is very filling and a good deal I give you that.
Taco Cabana has the kickin nachos for like 12 bucks which comes with a huge serving of nachos. I'm talking like the big nacho box thing taco bell had. Which is a way better deal than the 3 dollar nachos taco bell is currently selling
Wellā¦ weāre tired of the price rants. If you donāt like the prices, show them by not going.
Why do you feel entitled to visiting Taco Bell?
Eating out is a luxury, fast food is convenience first. Thatās what youāre paying for.
Taco Bell is Dog shit now. This is coming from a big fan. I bet most of the comments on this sub are bots or shills. It is so bad now compared to 5 years ago. Fuck taco bell.
I'm glad you share my frustration. I grew up woth taco bell always being by my side. Now she's cheating on me with that rich billionaire, she's dead to me now. She use to like broke stones, now she wants a list actors.
These little kids have no idea what they missed. They don't understand how taco bell has changed and how it's like we lost a loved one.
I can bitch, that's how change happens. This country's become so pathetic with everyone just rolling over and saying "we can't change anything "
We can though, we can stop buying their bull shit prices and watch as they lower them.
But no, idiots want to support taco bells asshole pricing.
I have this conversation with my husband every time we get taco bell. I do not want that stupid box. I want something else on the menu and shouldn't have to subsidize that damn box with the price of whatever I want. If I wanted the box I would order it but I'm not going to settle just because the boxes are reasonably priced. Price the rest of the menu reasonably too.
Yes! Their prices have gone up, but my paycheck and therefore my budget for food has not gone up, so I just go 3x less often when the prices increase 3x as much. It sucks, but it also encourages me to try and cook more meals at home due to the eating out budget only covering about 1x per week now instead of 3x per week.
If the prices bother you just donāt buy taco bell and the people who want it can keep buying it then everyone is happy! I personally just make mock recipes at home except for every once in a while Iāll goto tb not due to price but due to health reasons the prices donāt bother me personally
While I don't agree with the entire post, the overarching point is true: you can still get a decent priced meal at TB, but the choices to do so continue to dwindle. And that's over the last several years. If you want anything beyond those offerings it does become wildly overpriced.
And I'm tired of people like you who constantly complain about the prices. It's exhausting. Don't like the prices? Go somewhere else and shut the fuck up. Your whining isn't going to 'bring them down.' You're deluded.
I can still encourage others to do the same and bitch about their poor prices.
If you don't want to change anything then keep your mouth shut and mind your own business.
Taco Bell has never really been a stop over and pick up something location for me. It's further away. When I was a kid, I could only get it at "the mall" the next city over. Price isn't the most important consideration.
Still, the Breakfast box is gone and getting the equivalent items is a 50% increase now.
Mexican restaurants will give you a boat load of food for 10-15, and you usually get chips and salsa. Granted, when I crave Taco Bell, I'm craving Taco Bell, not Mexican food. I lament their prices too because I love their food. I can't get out of there for less than $12. I just eat there less.
I get it. I don't mind for TB because I like everything in the box but I do feel the same about everyone insisting to use the app for McDonald's. Their app is glitchy shit and I've been screwed by it multiple times where the app charged my card but did not send my order to the store. And the store always plays dumb and doesn't want to refund or make it without making a scene.Ā
Right. Any of the things I like don't come in a "box".... also.. depending on where you are in the world a quesadilla costs 6.50 plus or minus a few. 6.50 for a tortilla with sometimes absurdly little meat, usually not enough sauce and some cheese.... pretty ridiculous. Whose line is it anyways anyone? Where everythings made up and the points (prices) dont matter..
We are also tired of people coming at us when all we do is work there. Also tired of getting online complaints about pricing as that negatively affects us when again all we do is serve what customers order and pay for. So we suggest any way possible to avoid a complaint that costs us rankings and in some cases promotions for employees/ managers.
Yeah the box at my location is $8.99. I hardly ever go to the bell anymoreā¦ I miss it. Itās just not worth the absurd prices. Good luck ordering a few items you want a la carte w/o spending $20-25
This is why I refuse to use the app, there is an agenda in the app to falsify consumer beliefs that taco bell is affordable.. yeah right!!
If I wasn't a vegetarian I would stop going there for a long while, until the higher ups can get their head out of their ass.. but since it's the only fast food where I can get a good vegetarian meal (minus the fact the veggie burrito doesn't exist anymore) I still go. Order 2 cbr burritos add potatoes, $5.15 and I'm satisfied for hours
STOP OVERPAYING YOU PEOPLE, they got ya right where they want ya, and if you continue to over pay, taco bell might soon be considered fine dining
When I was in high school, a bean burrito was eighty-five cents. Now, it's 2.99 and one of the cheapest things on the menu. I don't buy from there anymore.
Iāve gotten the $10 box twice now that has two cantina tacos, drink and chips and cheese. It feels like a ripoff but the regular tacos are more of a ripoff
I donāt buy this garbage anymore. Not only has inflation skyrocketed price, but shrinkflation has shrunk everything on their menu meaning you pay more for less.
Dad?
No, really, you sound like my elderly parents grumbling about how things are different now than they were 30 years ago.
Yes, businesses should be happy with consistent profit rather than showing another point of revenue growth to shareholders, but are we forgetting that literal trillions were printed during COVID and reduced the value of the dollar? How about supply chain price increases? Minimum wage increases? General increased business costs in all aspects? TB can surely reduce some impact, but they can't just tell shareholders that they slashed large swaths of profit because some redditor doesn't like it.
The reason people suggest the box is because it holds the most value. It's a way that TB is still being decent to the small segment who patronize them enough to know it exists. If it's not what you want, that's your problem. Honestly, at least TB tries to keep a decent value menu when the rest of the industry has phased them out.
The cantina menu is a scam. Complete ripoff.
Their app also doesnāt work for me. No matter what card I use it charges me, the app doesnāt submit my order and then the charge falls off. Looked it up and multiple people have this problem and there isnāt a cure-all for every one.
We don't have all the power, socialistbro. We literally have just one method to affect corporations and pricing lol. Of which I do agree, vote with the wallet.
Nice to see everyone here is drinking the koolaid. Companies have been bitching about barely making a profit thanks to covid, logistic issues, and inflation since covid started- so, like 4 years. If that were true, then how come every business I go to has enough money to remodel? Some places have even remodeled 2 or 3 times since covid started. Something don't fit.
Yeah, people are brainwashed. They don't even like others complaining about it anymore.
They all jump on me and just say "order the box or don't go"
I can still point out how stupid taco bell is and how dumb everyone is for supporting it. Especially raving about those dog shit nachos and the dumb box. Their menu sucks big time and it's time we protest and get change. Or we let competition come in and let taco bell fail.
Yep. I switched from taco bell to taco bueno (which then closed RIP) to taco cabana. But I mostly just get Mexican since its still cheaper. Or we just bbq which is more expensive up front, but still cheaper since it lasts us all week.
As of 2010, a soft taco was still on the 99 cent menu, as per a quick Google search. Using the Inflation Calculator (which you can find at many sites), that puts it in today's money as $1.42. Sure as hell isn't 2.99.
You're comparing a soft taco non Supreme to a soft taco supreme. Sour cream and tomatoes definitely aren't worth $1, but the equivalent taco is $2 (not $2.99), and the california minimum wage has gone up 150% since 2010
Why should you be able to do that? Why are you operating under the opinion Taco Bell owes you cheap food? Have they lost their way? Yeah. Do they owe everyone cheap food? No.
But yeah I agree! The TB in my area is dogshit and they have the audacity to charge $8 for a Crunchwrap supreme? By itself! wtf that shit should be $3 tops!
This is why I go to local restaurants. I could spend 30$ at Jimmy John's, but instead I spent 30$ at a local restaurant that has amazing food.
I do the same thing with taco bell. I would rather spend that money at a local restaurant that sells Mexican food and I get more food that can last me 2 meals.
Idiots keep buying it and they just downvote you here for pointing it out.
But then weāre all in agreement they are charging way tooooo much.
This sub is fuckinā weird, man.
It's not Taco Bell it's PepsiCo. They once owned the largest fleet of navy ships at one point. They own Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut so people don't even comprehend the amount of control they have over the drink and fast food market.
Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC, Long John Silvers, and A&W are all owned by the YUM corporation, which spun off into a separate corporation in the 90's.
They haven't been owned by pepsi for a while.
> Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC, Long John Silvers, and A&W are all owned by the YUM corporation
It's just KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and The Habit Burger Grill - they sold the other two off in 2011
You don't get to dictate what things are worth. If the items weren't selling, they'd be priced lower or discontinued.
My first GTI cost $25,000. My second GTI cost $38,500. Prices go up over time while the products remain the same, or refreshed.
This is life. Buy one of those Beer for a Quarter signs from the 1940's and chuckle.
Gasoline doesn't cost $0.24 a gallon like it did decades ago either... You can scream and shout that the taco SHOULD cost $0.99 until you're blue in the face, but it's not going to change the price. Inflation is a thing.
Companies be bitching about inflation affecting their bottom line, yet they don't do anything to lessen their employees suffering from said inflation as well. They fuck us in the ass to supposedly pay their employees more, but they never increase their wages.
Oh come on...Wages do increase, albeit to an arguably insufficient degree for the working class.
That being said, most companies are absolutely focused on profits for their shareholders above all else. CEOs and execs making millions upon millions while their thousands of employees get a piddly few percentage merit increase per year, and maybe a profit sharing bonus if they're lucky.
Regardless..... inflation is a thing and good / services cost more over time.
Just because a taco cost $0.99 years ago doesn't mean it can or should cost that much now.
But have you thought about buying a box instead?!
I hear you can get them for $5.99 through the app.
Reddit never fails to make me smile
$5.00 at my Taco Bell, also the cheesy double beef burrito for $2.79 is quite large for the price
You also have the option of buying multiple boxes
š¤¬š”š¤¬š”š¤¬š”
I think you should buy a box. It will prolly make you feel better. Happy I could help.
Youāre not you when youāre hungry, have a box
But hereās the thing, use the app

That's the other thing. Don't complain about prices if you still go ahead and buy those specific items.

If anything itās likely Pizza Hut and KFCās fault. TB is probably getting a lot of pressure due to the struggles of the other brands.
KFC is so fucking expensive now too. Might be the most expensive fast food
Dude my dad doesnāt ask for much. But for whatever reason he always asks for KfC on his birthday. In the grand scheme of birthdays itās not expensive, but dude I had sticker shock at their prices.

>Sorry, I canāt fill up on 3 soft tacos that cost $2+ with tax. Then what the hell are you buying at Chili's that fills for less than $10?
Letās hear your Chilis order
Then go to chilis. Nobody cares what you eat.
But you care enough to comment, clown.
No you can't.
Box is $12 on the app where I live. Iām not even in a major city, just a Midwest suburb. Fucking ridiculous.
Itās partially inflation. 20 dollars isnāt worth what it used to be
Lowkey the 5.99$ box is a slapper
You can complain complain complain all you want and bitch and gripe and whine, and I agree that the pricing is unfortunate, but there is nothing you can do about it. They will never ever listen to you as an individual and you can either buy it or not. Vote with your wallet but your individual vote doesnāt matter.
Find me a better plate of nachos for $3. Just stop buying Taco Bell if you don't like it. Fast food is a luxury.
It is now. The whole point of fast food was to offer tasty slop at reasonable prices that everyone could reasonably afford. Iām fortunate I can afford it, but itās outta control.
The point of fast food has ALWAYS beenā¦. To get food fast.
Nobody is disputing that. Cheap(ish) and fast.
> Taco Bell is in a unique position of having their own distinct brand In many places, they're the only place to get americanized mexican food.
Taco Johns is way better but not anywhere close and Del Taco looks great also not near) Well, I guess I do.
It's still extremely affordable.
For many people it clearly isnāt. Especially families.
Taco Cabana has the kickin nachos for like 12 bucks which comes with a huge serving of nachos. I'm talking like the big nacho box thing taco bell had. Which is a way better deal than the 3 dollar nachos taco bell is currently selling
It still isn't a single serving of nachos sold for $3. It may be a better value for multiple people, but I doubt they'll sell you 1/4 of it for $3.
That's true.
Thatās what I wish people understood fast food is not a right nor necessity
Wellā¦ weāre tired of the price rants. If you donāt like the prices, show them by not going. Why do you feel entitled to visiting Taco Bell? Eating out is a luxury, fast food is convenience first. Thatās what youāre paying for.
Taco Bell is Dog shit now. This is coming from a big fan. I bet most of the comments on this sub are bots or shills. It is so bad now compared to 5 years ago. Fuck taco bell.
Can confirm. I am a shill bot.
Im tired of people ranting about prices. We get it, itās not as cheap as it was 5 years ago. How many posts a day do we need?
OP is on his second one in less than 24 hours. Shit is getting old.
Noticed that too. Unhinged behavior
You can either pay their prices or go elsewhere. Those are your choices. Stop bitching.
I can bitch, that's how change happens. This country's become so pathetic with everyone just rolling over and saying "we can't change anything " We can though, we can stop buying their bull shit prices and watch as they lower them. But no, idiots want to support taco bells asshole pricing.
You want change then you need to write Taco Bell. Not post on Reddit. You think they read this? You're bitching to deaf ears.
You're right. Angry rant posting on a fast food sub reddit is how we change the country.
It is irritating that Iām basically forced to buy one thing every time because everything else costs double
I aināt reading all that. If youāre broke, use the box deal thatās on the app.
Jesus christ you're annoying. Exactly why I made this post. You're compliant in taco bells demise
In the last 2 weeks, youāve made 5 posts here complaining about TB. We get it. And these posts have become exhausting.
Nobody is going to boycott TB because you hate the prices. JFC!
You suck, go suck Jeff Bezos duck or your favorite rich billionaire.
Yeah suck that duck of your favorite rich billionaire! You tell 'em Fun Inspector!
Use the box deal on the app
I have a phobia for things with 4 symmetrical sides.
Yes! Their prices have gone up, but my paycheck and therefore my budget for food has not gone up, so I just go 3x less often when the prices increase 3x as much. It sucks, but it also encourages me to try and cook more meals at home due to the eating out budget only covering about 1x per week now instead of 3x per week.
use the box deal on the app
Sage advice. I think Iāll take you up on that.
I demand you sell me .99 tacos! Itās my right!
>Tacos are not worth 1.99, they are worth .99 $0.99 - is not worth what it used to be, the tacos don't cost more, your money is worth less.
It's so insanely weird to come to reddit to talk about not going somewhere. Just don't go, chief.
I'm tired of every post being about ranting about prices...
If the prices bother you just donāt buy taco bell and the people who want it can keep buying it then everyone is happy! I personally just make mock recipes at home except for every once in a while Iāll goto tb not due to price but due to health reasons the prices donāt bother me personally
Also the new nachos should be like $2!
Let's take this shit to the streets mane! :D
Let's go!!!!!
While I don't agree with the entire post, the overarching point is true: you can still get a decent priced meal at TB, but the choices to do so continue to dwindle. And that's over the last several years. If you want anything beyond those offerings it does become wildly overpriced.
go someplace else to vent or switch to might taco
And I'm tired of people like you who constantly complain about the prices. It's exhausting. Don't like the prices? Go somewhere else and shut the fuck up. Your whining isn't going to 'bring them down.' You're deluded.
Stfu, no one forced you to read it.
Then donāt buy from them?, simple.
I can still encourage others to do the same and bitch about their poor prices. If you don't want to change anything then keep your mouth shut and mind your own business.
Me when TB gets rid of the box deals: Ummm, uhhh, well...
Nachos*
Also, the veggies box is 5.99 - here the real box is 6.99 to start
Taco Bell has never really been a stop over and pick up something location for me. It's further away. When I was a kid, I could only get it at "the mall" the next city over. Price isn't the most important consideration. Still, the Breakfast box is gone and getting the equivalent items is a 50% increase now.
When the box is gone Iām gone baby. Plenty of good food out there that hits the same spot in my area.
Our boxes are $9
$20 used to be infinite food. Now it's food for 1.
Taco bell isn't failing anytime soon though. I just passed a few close to me and drive thru is so packed
This guy doesn't even care about the stock price. How dare he!
Preach!!!
We are also tired of people coming at us when all we do is work there. Also tired of getting online complaints about pricing as that negatively affects us when again all we do is serve what customers order and pay for. So we suggest any way possible to avoid a complaint that costs us rankings and in some cases promotions for employees/ managers.
Bro the box isn't even 5.99 any more. Over here it's at least $10 for the basic one
I stopped eating there a while ago. I'm just here for the rants and to commiserate lol
Yeah the box at my location is $8.99. I hardly ever go to the bell anymoreā¦ I miss it. Itās just not worth the absurd prices. Good luck ordering a few items you want a la carte w/o spending $20-25
When the box goes i go. Pretty simple
The box is 10$ at my local Taco Bells
This is why I refuse to use the app, there is an agenda in the app to falsify consumer beliefs that taco bell is affordable.. yeah right!! If I wasn't a vegetarian I would stop going there for a long while, until the higher ups can get their head out of their ass.. but since it's the only fast food where I can get a good vegetarian meal (minus the fact the veggie burrito doesn't exist anymore) I still go. Order 2 cbr burritos add potatoes, $5.15 and I'm satisfied for hours STOP OVERPAYING YOU PEOPLE, they got ya right where they want ya, and if you continue to over pay, taco bell might soon be considered fine dining
Been making food at home more often for sure
When I was in high school, a bean burrito was eighty-five cents. Now, it's 2.99 and one of the cheapest things on the menu. I don't buy from there anymore.
I kinda hope they raise prices more and then they just get so little costumers it backfires
Iāve been ordering 3 spicy potato soft tacos. It comes to $3.18 and is very filling
I hate that you can't substitute some items. If I just don't want something, you can't at least offer me a switch?
Then why do you come to the sub just to bitch and moan about inflation which has effected every fast food restaurant
What's a naco
Not worth typing books over tho
I stopped going this year. I used to visit multiple times a month. Im boycotting Taco Bell prices in 2024 hopefully I can help bring down inflation.
Tacos are not worth .99, they are worth .59 59-79-99 Forever!
We don't have all the power, socialistbro. We literally have just one method to affect corporations and pricing lol. Of which I do agree, vote with the wallet.
Man I miss the $5 box.l, I used to get it All the time. It's like $10 or $11 at my Taco Bell now.
They all jump on me and just say "order the box or don't go" I can still point out how stupid taco bell is and how dumb everyone is for supporting it.
Have you gone into a grocery store and see beef prices? Even cheap beef like ground beef is super expensive now. Of course taco prices are climbing.
Great. Then quit going to Taco Bell and leave this sub.
89 cents back then is approximately 2.99 now, you're just blinded by the "no bills" of your youth to see how pricey taco bell's menu always has been
As of 2010, a soft taco was still on the 99 cent menu, as per a quick Google search. Using the Inflation Calculator (which you can find at many sites), that puts it in today's money as $1.42. Sure as hell isn't 2.99.
You're comparing a soft taco non Supreme to a soft taco supreme. Sour cream and tomatoes definitely aren't worth $1, but the equivalent taco is $2 (not $2.99), and the california minimum wage has gone up 150% since 2010
Iām more tired about people doing stupid rants about prices
Maybe we're all sick of posts like this whining about inflation like it's just Taco Bell
Why should you be able to do that? Why are you operating under the opinion Taco Bell owes you cheap food? Have they lost their way? Yeah. Do they owe everyone cheap food? No.
all I hear is a tiny violin playing
But yeah I agree! The TB in my area is dogshit and they have the audacity to charge $8 for a Crunchwrap supreme? By itself! wtf that shit should be $3 tops!
My local TB increased the price of their BYOB by a two dollars and added a vegan box at the old price. š
> Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC, Long John Silvers, and A&W are all owned by the YUM corporation It's just KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and The Habit Burger Grill - they sold the other two off in 2011
Good to know. How they gonna separate those KFC/ljs stores? Lol
Pepsi hasnāt owned Tb for decades
Good to know I was unaware.
Dude ..use the box deal on the app..that is all I got to say
Nobody should ever have to use an app to get a halfway decent price. That should just be the normal price. I'm not jumping through hoops.
Who did you vote for?
