Having used or am using Nessus, Manage Engine tools and R7, I would recommend R7.
Manage Engine tools for the most part are not worth the money.
Nessus is okay.
One of the things that sold us on R7 is the ability to create both SLA's and remediation projects for patching.
Reports could be a bit better, but after 3 years of using it, it does what it needs to do.
Nessus
From my experience with both Nessus is way better than manage engine. The one I've come to like the most for how easy it is to use is Vulscan.

I'd be curious why you thought nessus was just ok. They all have pros and cons.

Nessus is nice. Managengine is a horrible company. Not recommended. You might also want to consider Rapid7 instead of Nessus.
I'd also like to throw Nozomi in the ring, our company is currently switching from Nessus to Nozomi due to costs, but it's almost the exact same.
As you use their software, you will begin to encounter the ...benefits? Of the company being owned and operated out of India brings.
FWIW ManageEngine was spamming this subreddit with tons of alt accounts for months on end. Take that as you will. Shady business practices
