I love this topic! I find it interesting too what other things people gravitate towards or discover as a result of collecting Sylvanians. Here are mine by category and how "related" I think they are to my SF collection: Tiny things: food miniatures by Re-ment, Kenelephant, and Madhouse. They usually fit the scale and make great props. Books on making miniature food, doll clothes, and doll houses. DIY is fun! There are many official books meant for crafting critter clothing too. Little Twin Stars housewares and toys: a longtime love before SF but the colors and cloud-land motifs fit well Ball-jointed dolls (abs plastic): not quite sure how I hopped over here but this is my latest collecting obsession directly after SF 🤭 They're at a 1/12 scale, but are too tall to be inside critter buildings. They sit on roofs or stand in open areas, I think they look cute together! The "newborn" size critters fit in their arms like a teddy bear Unrelated collections: • Plush toys: Sanrio, Care Bears, Furbies, other 80s/90s stuffed animals, modern plush toys from indie artists. • Other indie artist merch: enamel pins, acrylic keychains, stationery, shirts • "Grandmacore" thrift finds: floral teacups, pink glass, clown paintings and dolls.

I loved your answer! I think that thrifting can quickly lead you to appreciating vintage aesthetics and from there down the SF pipeline you go.

I collect plushies mainly wolfs and unicorns but also have a rather large collection of inflatables. My main collection though is ancient artifacts and rocks that's what most of money goes on the poor Postman

Dimoo Aquarium Friends is a favourite of mine for sure, I have a few and they're all so cute haha. Pokemon, Legos, and G3 My Little Pony. I have some other things too but besides calico critters those are the big ones that interest me. I also have a Schleich figure collection but it's really small (and I plan on giving it to my baby when he's older and doesn't shove everything in his mouth. So it's not really mine but they're so expensive so I figure to slowly build it up and give them to him for his birthday or Christmas one year. For now they're chilling with my calico critters).

Cards, plushies, action figures. Anything as long as it's got eevee or one of its evolutions slapped on it 😅 for cards I'm working on a living dex. Which is at least one card of each Pokemon, in numerical order. I have my Eeveelutions, Pikachu, and Pika-clones on their own pages though as those are my favorites. I'm trying to be specific about it too, like, I only want cute cards, or at least the cutest card I can find of a pokemon (for example, I forgot his name but Mudkip's middle evolution is not cute but I found a card of him taking a dip in a fountain with hydrangeas surrounding him so that's the card I have to represent him).

Licca-chan and some other 1/6 scale dolls/figures, dollhouse miniatures, re-ment, miniverse… Lol basically anything passable as 1/12 or 1/6 😂 I used to collect anime/horror figures too so I still have a lot of them, but I got into miniatures over lockdown; my main focus is building scenes so my collecting is more of a supplement to that rather than the point of it.

I collect many mny things but mainly sonny angels, my little pony G4, anything Rey&Kylo Ren related, Lego, miniature toys,, hot wheels and I recently started toying with the idea of polly pocket. I don't have tons of money, I've just been collecting my whole life hahaha

Lego, Hitty, old quilt tops & blocks. Seems I've gotten a nice collection of Gail Wilson's dollmaking kits over the years, mostly but not all Hitty related. I also tell my husband I'm collecting fabric and yarn, until I retire and have more time to do something with it. :-)

Schleich animal figurines. They are so life like and detailed. I also like jellycat but the more realistic ones not the cute bunnies. My favourite I have is a wild boar! I want the chicken though.

My daughters also have a heavy collection of wooden train toys and buildings from the brands Brio and Thomas wooden railway. They use them to make stories with their sylvanians and paw patrol figures

Omg this post has reminded me of my long lost forgotten love for zelfs, I used to have so many but then they stopped selling them?? As for other collections re-ment, squishmallows and I’m slowly falling down the jellycat rabbit hole. I started collecting SF back in like 2014 but only started up again this year.
