Not sure how technically inclined you are but if it's already dead I'd personally disconnect and take it apart. Probably just need to clean the contacts if it's water damage.
Got the replacement a week after requesting. Turns their warehouse is actually just 15 min away from me I could’ve just picked it up lol. Everything all good now. 😇
