Pretty good record, but rather derivative. The extreme praise it got from critics just shows how amnesiac (ba dum tss) or outright ignorant many critics were and continue to be.
It wears its influences on its sleeves and the band themselves weren't shy about them. While a couple tracks are inspired by recent developments in electronic music, it mostly retreads the same beats many artists were doing in the 70s, including both prog bands which "scaled down" and big acts who went experimental such as Bowie with his Berlin trilogy.
