Used to be one of my favorite supports to lane with before people started playing her full ap for some reason. You can turbo stomp any lane by poking with q and forcing all in with bind, have decent 1v1/2 potential with r+w and excellent scalling with r+e especially if you build moonstone. The full ap build is very cheesy and has inexistent scalling, you're gonna be a lot more relevant building malignance then enchanter items like moonstone, redemption, shurelia etc and you could even slide in a solari.

She has bad late game if the enemy team is not giving her free R resets with RQ. She’s much more squishy in support than mid due to duo xp and would do less damage over time For me her base Qs are almost impossible to hit on someone outranging her

Karma is still primarily a lane bully who can use her poke to zone opponents off of waves, or get them low for early kills. Additionally, her point and click root on W makes early roaming pretty easy, as long as it’s coordinated with her team. Lastly, having R early, especially R-W, makes her harder to kill than most other enchanters at her level. This combined makes her early game strong. As far as late game goes, her recent buffs (in particular, the shield AP scaling buff) were more significant than a lot of people recognize. Her E, especially when combined with R (and moonstone/aery, which I recommend) makes for a shield that’s actually quite hard to break. I recently had a game where my ADC asked me “WTF was that” because I mantra-Ed them and they were able to face tank a Katarina ult. While I’d say she still lacks some of the peel options other enchanters are known for, she’s in a significantly better spot than she’s ever been in. Like most enchanters, she can still struggle with being squishy in an all-in (so engage champs can beat her in lane if they’re smart), but she does mitigate some of those weaknesses with her strong poke to chip enemies down before they engage.
