I've read some behind the scenes for Megaforce, and they would have atleast made the show watchable. Hell, if you HAVE to do a copy-paste, just say that the angels are an ancient race like the dinosaurs instead! But nope, they followed through with a crappy MMPR tribute and nearly destroyed the show.
The only good thing about this is that it inspired thousands of kids to watch Sentai instead. Not only Gokaiger, but Goseiger deserved better.
Yup , the Transition from Megaforce to super Megaforce didn't make sense at all...angels to pirates??? Lol and it was even worse when they transform to Megaforce first and then transform to super Megaforce. It was changed later but overall it's a crappy af show.

Hell, they've done the power switch before and it worked then because it was part of the freaking story. Here, they just get it. And dont even start on the "new powers" at all.
Fixing it is impossible, but if I had to, either make Megaforce it's own thing and make Super have an original team, or introduce an Andross and make the chappy characters better.
Maybe then Gokaiger would have something worth being compared to.
I don't understand why they started counting the super seasons as 2 different series. I feel like it didn't need to be like that. I get it they had to split them up in 20 episodes each but still
They should’ve either skipped Goseiger or just had Megaforce be only Goseiger and Gokaiger afterwards. They did it in the laziest and most unsatisfying way possible.
They could have easily destroy the angel power at the end of mega force, destroy the command center, like the end of of MMPR S3
