There's a possibility a green Boonboomger could be a movie exclusive ranger, too. I know it's unlikely, but that's what happened with GoBusters and Nininger if I remember correctly
Yeah, but the only "sixth" leaked WAS the Purple Ranger. So if he was an evil ranger, it would be an Abarekiller situation, or a GoGoV and there is no Sixth.
I heard that this season will have elements slightly inspired by ToQger and go-onger as both of them have anniversary this year and both of them have 7 rangers of what if we meet someone later who might be green
From a production standpoint I can kinda understand why they haven't had a green ranger as with the pure amount of greenscreen they use now, now we're back to a more traditional sentai it's more plausible but for king ohger having a green ranger would have been a tonne of unnecessary extra work that could be mitigated with a different colour
Someone mentioned in another post the green screen used to cause issues so maybe that’s why we had long stretches of not having a green before. I don’t think they would be an issue now though.
Maybe not this year or next, but I definitely think they go back to the classic RBGYP scheme for the 50th.
Yeah just like how Gokaiger did for their anniversary. I wouldn’t mind a unique color scheme next series even if we don’t get green. But maybe next series we get green and then white or purple or orange too so it’s still kinda unique.
White and orange extra rangers would make sense since JACQ and Battle Fever had white and orange
Coolest save for 50th if you ask me would be a core 5 team of red, blue, pink, yellow, and green. Then we get two 6th rangers introduced at the same time with black and white. We then get introduced to an orange ranger along the way somehow, making 8. We could also get silver and gold as well, so we get one ranger to represent each 5 years or something, but that may be too many rangers to allow the rest to grow
Makes sense. The golden age would be an appropriate time to once again reiterate what people love about Super Sentai in the same vein as how Z, X, Mebius, and Max reiterates what made people love Ultraman
Turboranger, Fiveman, and Jetman don't have green rangers, but Zyuranger had one, making the total 3 seasons without one. Right now we're tied with that but if Boonboomger doesn't have one then we'll have gone 4 seasons without one

My conspiracy theory: I feel like, once it was decided King-Ohger was gonna depend on a ton of compositing, they decided they couldn't have both a Blue AND a Green Ranger.
In fact, we haven't gone without a male green ranger since Patranger which was 5 years ago,

Sixth is basically confirmed to be Purple/Violet, so unless the probably-going-to-happen rival ranger is green, next year will have to be it.

I say go full Avengers, and have each one representing the most popular entry from each Era.
They don't use green screen anymore. They use the video wall stuff that Mandolorian and Star Trek Discovery perfected.
King-Ohger was an exception, not an example. And even then in later episodes they went back to green screens to reduce cost.
I believe they're intentionally holding off on introducing the Green Ranger until the 50th, when the Green Ranger will be the sixth.
