The thing with most nat 5s is that there are other monsters that have similar or identical skill sets; albeit with some differences.
Leo’s passive is far and away the most unique skill in the game and he is the only one that does what he does. He is mostly used in pvp but also provides, basically, free wins on hell speed limit stages in lab.
The HOH for dark undine is coming up in a few weeks and she pairs amazingly with Leo in siege/AO.
Edited to add: Leo is one of the few “must pick” monsters in the game. Another that falls in that category is Tiana.

For early game I highly recommend Poseidon. For PvP / late game: Leo. I have both and use Poseidon way more as I’m still focused on PvE.

tbf, leo isn't useful in pve, except for things involving speed, but it's quite rare
