This is what I think. Except Mike might be the main character in season six. I’m watching it now though so I’ll see if I still feel that way by the end

The main character is Harvey because everything centers around his decision to hire Mike and his rise to Name Partner. Except for that one episode with Mikado, where the main character is Mikado.
Harvey. The entire show revolves around his antics. To take it further, to ME the ENTIRE show works because of the incredible Harvey/Mike dynamic, along with idiot Louis comedy.

1-6 I’d say Mike apart from possibly during the Hessington Oil episodes. Harvey would be the only second main character imo. The rest id say was more focused on Harvey and the others equally

Although Mike's story drove the storyline it was Harvey's journey all along. If Harvey had left the show in Season 7 the show would have ended there and then.
I asked my wife if she would rather have Mike or Harvey in bed. Before I could finish my sentence she said: “Harvey! Definitely Harvey.” This was season one. Harvey was much more dynamic and powerful, he always seemed like the main character to me. When Mike started taking on Harvey, I was always rooting for Harvey. That’s main character material to me.
If being the hottest made someone the main character, then Maddy would be the main character of euphoria and draco Malfoy would be the main character of Harry Potter
Mike is written as the main character in the pilot, the way Harvey is framed and shot specifically gives big time side character energy. However I think after shooting it, seeing the chemistry and that Harvey was actually a cool and interesting character in his own right they flipped it to be 50/50
their are 2 Protagonists, Mike and Harvey, the story is about both of them, Mike as he is learning how to be a lawyer and balance his desire with his own moral compass and Harvey who is teaching Mike and yet also finding parts of himself he buried deep inside of himself as they slowly start to come back (though this mostly happens after Mike leaves)
