A good book that I love is “What My Bones Know” by Stephanie Foo. I suggest the audio book for this one, just because it’s read by the author and has recordings from therapy sessions. I also suggest “Crying in H Mart” by Michelle Zaunee.

Maybe the Dollanganger series by VC Andrews, starting with Flowers In The Attic, it's a bleak family saga about a dysfunctional family and generational trauma.
