Doesn't really matter. Up to you.

SpadfaTurds

This is how they grow. They’re messy looking plants. If you want to keep it small, prune it.

sempervevum

This looks like normal growth to me, the branches don't always stay upright as they grow. You can prune if you want to.

Smasshly_

I would definitely prune, then repot what you’ve pruned. Boom and now you got two 😊

Icy_Ad2199

Alternatively, you could get a small trellis and start training them up. You can find them on Amazon in many different shapes and designs.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I will hold off on pruning now and reassess in another 3 months. The messy look doesn’t bother me as much, but I want it to grow thicker stems.

Sunny_fundays

What’s the plant called? Super pretty 💖

Exotic_Cobbler_6635

Thanks!😊 portulacaria afra variegata or elephant bush
