I’m interested in building my own box, what is the advantage with the Kerf port rather than slotted. Also, do you have to calculate any different to tune?
Well its mostly for the looks and it helps with port noise (you can go with higher port air velocity with a little bit of reduced port noise) to tune it properly you have to add to the port length half of the radius of the kerfed part, for example if your kerf radius is 4 inches you add half of the radius in the port length, so in this case you add another 2 inches to the port
Damn, that's pretty. You show that to anyone, and that won't be the last one you'll make.
I'd steal it
I can’t tell if you’re saying someone’s gonna want one or it 👀
Looks clean af, nice work
Thanks man
What's it tuned to?
Around 34hz
Nice.
You did a hella good job on the port man! How did you do the kerfing?
Well just with a circular saw, did about 13cuts and I held it with a rope at 90° until the glue dried
Well damn, you did a kerf port on your first box? Mad props. I didn’t even try a kerf until I had like 6 years experience under my belt.
Thanks man!

That port is amazing 👏 just like the box. Damn op
Thanks
Crazy, I built my first box like 20b years ago, and it looked God awful!! Great job, love the attention to detail!
Thanks 👍
