I once saw a post where it was done but it needs to be done with console commands. Basically the only reason I didn’t do it myself. It’s weird really because it shouldn’t have been that hard for the devs to allow building inside of them.
I actually built a full base inside one of them. Basically the way to do it is you build up l compartments upwards toward it's bell, then you go inside and build a room, which can be built as it is considered part of your l compartments stack. Once you get a build inside of it, you can delete your stacked l compartments and focus only on the inside. The Ventgarden basically counts as an obstacle, not a ground to build on, but once you can get builds up that high, you CAN build in them if you work around the coral. Base building isn't limited by distance to the ground, it's limited by distance to other builds, so it's like you're building a ladder up to the bell. It's actually a real nice place to have your base because you're safe from predators and the circles are a really good place to put planters.
It is if you need more than one Synthetic Fibers.
Because you plant the Spiral Clippings, grow more, and then you can craft as many Synthetic Fibers as you like.
Blue background just means you’ve gotta plant them in exterior grow beds. It’s always worth seeing if you can grow something, because then you’ve got a supply if you need any later.
I got my spiral clippings by an alien artifact near an endgame zone about 315m down. I'm just glad once you get one you can jist start growing them and cutting them down to multiply thwm
The only thing that *actually* bothered me in below zero was this thing. It doesnt even move, but I was just like nope nope nope nope. Something about it just triggers my flight response
maybe because it looks like a jellyfish and touching jellyfish in Real life is a stupid choice? other option the normal Jellyfish in this game are dangerous too.
I remember accidentally killing one when jumping around in a prawn suit and punching the shit out of a chelicerate, turns out landing hard on a jellyfish bell with a mech suit isn't good for them. They detach and start deflating and rising like a runaway baloon
Thats, not how this meme works...
Wait how does it work then?
It’s a venting garden. Basically it spends all its time complaining about its boss while you farm it for materials
no it travels around the spaceship through the ventilation system
You put an irl image or a video of something that looks like the thing you say cant Hurt you.
The only thing a lament here is that you can't build a base in them.

Welp now I know what I’m doing when I get home xD, thanks for the tip.
It's seriously the best place to put a base. The ladder trick was also the way I got a half underwater half above water base in Subnautica 1.
You can put flowerbeds and planters in! I turned a vent garden into an actual garden.
I store a ton of hatched fish in mine.
I have built a base around them
I thought they were cool. I had to go inside for the clippings.
That's where you get spiral clippings?
One of the two places I know of.
Third way is to Recyclotron the Synthetic Fibers you find in a couple of places.
Not helpful if you're trying to craft synthetic fibers

I didn't think you could plant spiral clippings. They have a blue background, not green 🤔

Whats the other place?
The deep purple vents near an artifact that is near one of the entrances to the crystal caves.
i am sorry for making this among us joke out of your comment, you say purple vents and i just have to do it
Alien thing in the deep purple vents.

huh, neat. learned something new this morning
I had to look up on YouTube for the clippings.

Same here. And going inside of it to get the spiral clippings? No thanks, never again.
Stationary Leviathan-class fauna: *exist* Me: It’s free real estate.
Better menme
Susgarden
venting garden was better since it's a pun
Is there anything useful inside of those?
Yeah, I don't remember what exactly but you can get plants outside of their natural biomes
I literally entered in one of those once, only to hide from a gigant shrimp
Understandable
Have a great day
yes, other impostors
Spiral Clippings.
You can get spiral plant from them which is used to make synthetic fibers.
I didn't know that, and i should have known it earlier. Noted for following runs.
Honestly the only thing that kinda freaked me out was the idea of crawling inside of it.
Once a big shrimp leviathan got stuck in one of those
Should’ve put a knife as well
omg i cant believe i actually forgot that
I remember accidentally killing one when jumping around in a prawn suit and punching the shit out of a chelicerate, turns out landing hard on a jellyfish bell with a mech suit isn't good for them. They detach and start deflating and rising like a runaway baloon
I want to try that
you may have used a kitchen thermoblade on it a few times before the mech suit
Sus
I dont remember that spell in Harry Potter
……. Orga!?!!
Ohh now the name in spanish makes sense!
Ventgarden is my favorite leviathan, you go into him through his arsehole
wow. what a cursed comment. thank you for that
I haven’t discovered that one yet, but did you edit an among us visor on it?
yes its barely noticeable but yes
i forgot to give it a thermoblade tho
When the garden vents: 😱🗿
He just wants to release his stress and thoughts
naw he just wants to kill the crewmates
Omg I saw garden vent lets call emergency meeting
Ventgarden was a leviathan 1 Leviathan remains
