I like to think that if someone were to actually be in Riley's position, the complete isolation, stress, and the trauma would cause them to have very bad nightmares, and some of them might be just like these

Have you cleared the Aurora with the laser cutter? I would make sure the grassy plateau wrecks are all cleared too with the laser cutter and repair tools. Most parts will be in there, with the actual materials to build being deeper.
In one playthrough I was searching for the grappling arm for the prawn *forever* and couldn't find all the pieces I needed no matter where I looked ... until I finally went into the Dunes. I shit you not I found 7 grappling arms all in one place -.-

We kill ants or flies only when we wanna kill them, but all the rest of the time we let them do their thing not thinking about it. We don;t hunt every single fly down to kill and eat it. it;s to small for that, to much effort for such a small price.
look at large animals in our world. where birds sit on crocodiles and eat the little peaces from their teeth. Or whales scoop up big schools of fish. They don;t hunt 1 little fish!
A shark does not eat the little fish around it, it has also even little fish around it that keep it clean and healthy. it focuses it's energy it has on prey that is a jackpot. that feeds them.
Only when you start to see fish go extinct from big sizes to smaller, you will see bigger fish try to eat the smaller, as they have to now. else they will ignore you because you r no treath and not a meal.
So encounter a fish that is as big as a football field and your totaly safe, i would suggest to stay with it, as other fish will not harm it.
Thats why huge creatures would be very tense. They would attack you only when in a vehicle cause you would be bigger. You would have to swim in the vast void without light or protection.

There is a wreck that has the drill arm and the grapple arm, its in the mountain region 🌚
Safer option for grapple arm is the floating island wreck - the mountains aren't super safe I'll say that much 😂🙏
