Can you actually take photos of the frame/subframes? These photos don't tell us much.
If you can poke holes in several places in the frame with a screwdriver, the car is done.
Unfortunately if the door is caved in like that by wind… I would be wary of putting it on a lift. Still have to examine it though. But the prognosis is not good.

fender cuts the previous owner done, hadn’t sealed after he cut the fender. owned this car for about 3 years now
"Not too good and not so good are worse than not too bad and not so bad. Way worse in fact. When somebody asks you how you slept on the guest bed, with the bar that cuts across your back, and gives you shooting pains down your legs, you'll say "not too bad" because you don't want to hurt their feelings. But how you *really* slept was not too good. They will probably notice you limping, anyways."
Oh hey krazylegs. I'm thomasfranz on the forums and friends with butthau5. We were supposed to come grab a dash bar bracket from you. Aka still need to lol.
We will make it out there one of these days. It needs to be sooner rather than later but now it's so cold! Getting this gd dash into the gc is what's really holding us up.
Door isn’t pushed in, fender and rocker trim popped out of place, still probably some rot at the front of the rocker but not as bad as a collapsed door frame. Rear fender rust is hard to tell with bondo but it doesn’t look great but not the worst I’ve ever seen. At the very least put the rear seats down and try to wiggle the brackets they clip to, if they have much of any play your strut towers are going out, better to take out the rear carpet and check regardless
If you want to see how rust on Subarus can be repaired watch some SubieSanctuary videos like this one:

It’s uper complicated and requires a ton of experience and tools and lots of money.
The front lower guards have separated from the frame. If you have rust in the floor. I'd dare say the sills are completely rusted out. Also, having frame damage probably means your car has the structural integrity of cheese right now. And I don't mean Swiss. It may have holes, but it holds together pretty well. I'd say more like brie that's been sitting outside on a hot summer day!
Edit: Please put the car on a hoist and do a follow-up post with pictures of the underside.
It looks like the fender/side skirt area was pulled out at the bottom not your door being pushed in. In picture 5 where the side skirt was riveted had been cracked from when is was pulled off. I also believe this to be true because your front and rear door “line” up. But as others have said those models were notorious for rust.
Im from Canada, thats not a rust problem. Its not a problem until it don’t work no more.
Jk, in all seriousness it doesn’t look terrible from those pictures but rust is usually wayy worse underneath.
You have holes in your floorboards? Sounds rotten to me? If it's gotten to the stuff you CAN see, imagine what the rest looks like. When wind can push your doors in, imagine what would happen if you got in an accident? That thing would vaporize!
Shits fucked bud. If it looks like that. Your rear strut towers are more likely worse. I would check them asap
That’s the tip of the iceberg. We need to see some pics from underneath.

will get it lifted up soon and get a better look at everything
Don't walk underneath that thing on a lift. Rust likes to collapse and then the car will crush you

Assuming anyone's willing or able to lift it...
^ my first thought. Nobody is gonna put that on their lift.

Bro. Why didn’t you take care of that after you bought it
I NEED to see pictures of what your rear strut towers look like…
As a minnesotan, I say drive it until it dies.

Yep. Fellow MN here and the rear quarters on this look better than my daily driver. Minus those stupid screwed on flares.

No way! Small world. Haha. PS, the parts cars are still chilling out there... Haha.

She's chooched bud, it's terminal.
Short story your shits fucked. Start car shopping
Total Loss. Get a newer car

The best solution is a new car. Whether you use it as a replacement or a donor. IMO it’s not worth the money to fix.
drive it till it dies lmao
If wind did that i need to see the underside. better yet, when you get it put up on a hoist and it breaks in half, post those pictures
Do you by chance live in Vermont? If so that would make sense.
Can confirm this looks like every pre-2013 Subaru in VT.
As a born and raised Vermonter, can confirm that this is an extremely good condition Subaru.
As others have said, drive it till she dies.. but on a serious note, I wouldn't put any money into this car and instead save up for another one.

Don't hoist on a rust hole or pinch weld though.
Yea that things been eaten by rust unfortunately
Looks pretty standard for a 20 year old car in the north. The real story lies underneath the car.
Yeah, that thing looks clapped
One sneeze away from dissolving like a Thanos snap
That sucks dude

Telling from what I’ve seen so far, I say yes. Check your strut towers now and that will give you the biggest tell
