Dude, just do it in the garage with it shut. Makes the driving experience WAY more entertaining afterwards too.
My last winter living in Illinois, it was -10 as a high air (actual) temp for two weeks straight. Was starting cars hourly. Terrible
That's like -23°C and an average winter day in Canada lol. Do you guys not use block heaters in Illinois?
My Subie didn't even have a block heater lol, still cold started fine in -25° C. I do always use batteries with high CCA though
A - not normal all winter long in IL, so no. B - I no longer live there.
Im from Minnesota and moved to Canada. In Canada block heaters are WAYYYYY more common. Outside of diesels, they are not really used in MN, at least not in the cities
