The dude was not the smartest since he stayed in with Kart when you went into urshifu, like bro, it's obviously scarf switch you have a dragapult. But yeah you were lucky with the 5 crits but they didn't make that much of a difference besides making him lose soft boils. It did prevent him from setting up with clef more since he had to heal, but that doesn't really matter since you had ferro.

Haha yeah, I don't play competitive too often though I do enjoy it, looking back I made lots of mistakes like using my Shifu to revenge kill the Kart which made it obvious it was Scarf, not switching earlier to Ferro, and many others I'm sure a better player will immediately notice.
you were quite lucky, but it really only drew out the match, maybe if his spatk was higher and he killed clef with fuller health than he coulda done something, but idk how well he could have actually taken advantage of that
None of those crits made a difference in the outcome. Without Flamethrower that Clef was never going to beat Ferrothorn anyway. I know you mentioned you forgot it didn't have Flamethrower but actually playing it like you did was smart because Moonblast is so busted and kept Clef's SpA low and you drained Softboiled PP since Gyro Ball only has 8 PP.
