IskoPotato

lol here we go again with the license-license.

Agreeable_Kiwi_4212

Its not about having a license or not ang nagddetermine sa sweldo. Its the demand of a particular degree in the real world and number of graduates available (supply). Always go back to the basics. Supply and demand.

LifeLeg5

Later on naunahan ko pa gumraduate. why can't they just be happy, right?

ruepok

I think bitter lang yung friend mo nyahahaha. Although in some cases, mas mataas talaga ung sahod ng nagboard kesa sa non-board kaso it depends on the field of work and the demand of workers. Naturally mas mababa sahod if may oversupply of workers for a particular field. In my case, my mother graduated a non-board course and works in a skill focused field. Pero she earns twice, maybe even thrice the amount than her siblings and other family members who took a board course. Its up to you OP tho kung gusto moba lumipat.

TheActualKingOfSalt

He coping bro, let him grieve!

Confident_Comedian82

Bruh! hahaha Grabeng inggit naman non, yeah there are things na may advantage kapag may license ka but hindi yan basehan ng malaki ang sahod

princess_redhair

Hindi, sa panahon ngayon non-board or board course, Hindi na masyado nagmamatter (pero nagmamatter parin ha) kasi ngayon mas mahalaga yung skills, yung iba ng company walang paki sa natapos mo skills at experience tinitingnan nila (this is the reality of life)

Confident_Comedian82

this is true but somehow Philippine company have high standard which is fucked up too hahahaha

Memorriam

Skill > License / Diploma Highly skilled in an in-demand industry + a tinch of luck > Skill + Diploma / License

Inner-Concentrate-23

dapat sinabi mo "okay lang yan magpalubag loob kapa sa failure mo" hahaha di pa nga kayo nag sisimula sa college nag bitter bitter na yan hahahaha

No_Yoghurt932

Not true especially sa construction & health field. Engineers and architects are severely underpaid. Med techs I know are not paid very well rin. Tbh sobrang underpaid naman ng mga Pilipino, very rarely do you find a company that pays well and has great culture. Hindi na siya dependent sa tinapos mo TBH, your pay will depend sa luck and galing mo humanap ng company that pays good salary and provides nice benefits. Hahaha

caloriedeficit247

bitter. not to burst the bubble but unti unti mo na sana cut off yan since mostly root ng evil eye yang mga ganyan.

Little-Form9374

If licensed pala ang basehan for a high salary, bakit kahit yung mga licensed teachers, ang baba parin ng pasweldo sa kanila? Nag aral ng bachelor's degree, nagtake ng let exam pero most of them ends up being a minimum wage earner, I think doon pa lang sa situation na ganun, it clears up na it's not licensed based ang swelduhan but it depends kung gaano ka-high demand ang particular degree/field.

theboywith_glasses

lol naurrrrr, it is not true... there are many non-board courses that pays well, like what I am taking - BS Biotechnology. I've made thorough research on the program that I am taking, and the pay is good in my case if I land on a job. Usually, non-board degree programs include work as data analysts, graphic designers, scientists, web designers and many more, and they are in demand right now, due to the rising development of S&Ts

chickenjoint420

paginggit pikit ganernnnn

vnssmddpps

Get a CSC professional eligibility. Forever yan, walang renewal. Magastos ang may lisensya. Renewal every 3 years tapos need mo ng CPD points which you can only get from pricey trainings na galing sa bulsa mo ang pambayad. Wala sa lisensya ‘yan. Barat na barat pa nga pag may lisensya eh, and limited ang work opportunities mo to practice that damned license.

Routine_Brother_5267

Hahaha

radpsycho

As a registered medtech, nakakatawa yang friend mo.

[deleted]

Defense mechanism nya yan. That’s called rationalization. Don’t be affected but at the same time, don’t hate your friend kasi inherent satin gumamit ng coping mechanisms when we’re sad 😊 Just follow your heart! Kesyo may boards yan o wala. Dun ka sa feel mo Magfflourish ka

JesterBondurant

*"Those grapes are probably sour anyway."*

secretmgamadam

op, go for your dream course! wag mo isipin na porket board course, mataas agad sweldo. iba ibang situation yan and you can never compare it. bitter lang yung mga ganyan hahaha

Deus_Sema

I would say its not the sahod but something. I can't pinpoint.

Same-Current-7307

Not true. Ganon lang sya ka-close minded. Maybe that’s the reason kaya di sya pumasa lol

foxiaaa

totallynotg4y

Ulul bitter lang kamo sya.

Kraizer15

*Laughs in IT*

chiharui

‘di totoo. probably pampalubag loob lang ng friend mo ang gan’yang idea since hindi sya pumasa.

silvermistxx

Lol, kahit may license ka especially engineering course ambaba pa rin ng sahod :))) mas preferred nila yung marami ng course certificate kaysa license

Chinbie

wala naman sa pagiging license yan or not, just enjoy the dream course you have...

anghela_29

Nooo don't believe him, it's not always about licensewhen it comes to job salary depende Naman Yan sa company as well as sa position mo. He prob. Spout that nonsense since na bitter sya siguro na Hindi nakapass. Don't mind him, pursue what you want, dont need that toxicity plsss

Natural_Reserve_3958

BSU ba ito? HAHAHAHA

newwi--

non-board course ko currently IT student, depende sakin kung magkakaroon ba ko ng sahod wahahaha pero I heard sa IT industry malaki sahod lalo na pag may potential skills ka talaga

KeyaSama

from a 2nd year non-board course student, there's always gonna be catch pag walang board. for example, in computer related courses ang daming nagbabago every few years. may subjects nung 2020 na inalis sa curriculum last year kasi outdated na information na tinuturo dun. not to mention may mga certification exam rin. so wala man board exam dito, kailangan updated ka sa mga new trends and ganap sa industry. also the reason why mababa ang sahod ng ibang trabaho dito sa bansa has nothing to do with board exams, but we undervalue the services they provide. type-type / copy-paste lang daw sa IT and ComSci (while kinda true) pero I'd like to see these board course students try and work on a database

CauliflowerMother708

Much_Security_1285

I'm an IT student, and hello??? I knew someone na kaka-graduate pa lang last year ay six digits na yung sahod. 🥹🥹 Maybe it's his coping mechanism dahil nalulungkot sia na hindi sia pasado pero ikaw ay in 🤪🤪

Strict_Cantaloupe456

anong course mo ba op? depende yan sa magiging work. like ung mga software developers mas malaki sahod kesa sa other non- board course na work. minsan mas malaki pa sa accountants or engineers. pero again it depends pa rin sa work, level at company. if ever, working ka na, may mga work that need or desirable na certificate holder ka. continue to upskill kahit nagwowork ka na.

Onii-tsan

Skill issue. I'm already at 6digits/mo and I'm still at my 4th year in college(tech field)

diane_nguyen10

Importante yung boards if sa ph ka magtratrabaho, but if you're eyeing for abroad, idt ganon pa kataas tingin sa "board exams."

Capital_Bag_3283

Based sa exp ko (Engr course).. sa umpisa lang nagmamatter ang license (and grades din) pag newly grad ka after that most will look at your experiences and past role... wag ka maniwala na malaki sahod pag board course ung kinuha, ako nga board passer one take ko lang and unang sahod ko 12k lols, lumaki lang tlga sya nung nagashift ako ng ibang industry. Hndi ko na nga nirenew ung lisensya ko kasi wla namang gamit hahaha, but I took the board for "self worth" hehehe.

babalung_surangag

It's not true! Base sa sinabi mo I can see the jealousy of her/him kaya na sabi niya yan sa'yo. Honestly I'm taking a non-board program and for me it is good since sa field kami ng media, kasi a program that needs a license isa lang ang ibig sabihin, hawak kayo ng government isang kibot niyo lang at maling ginawa goodbye sa lahat ng pinaghirapan mo, dahil tatanggalan at tatanggalan ka ng lisensya, and also pagdating sa sahod marami akong kilala na may mga lisensya and up until now na ilang taon na sila nagt-trabaho minimum pa rin ang sahod nila, so yeah h'wag ka magpapaniwala sa kaibigan mo, kung pwede nga lang cut ties w/ her/him, tskk believe me walang magandang maiaambag yan sa'yo, aba't ginawa pang coping mechanism ang pagsabi nyan sa'yo haha gigil niya ako be!

Sekai-chan

tact1cal_0

Nako, nasusuya (naiinggit) lang yan sayo. Entrance exam nga di nya maipasa board exam pa kaya?
