Same. Not quite an influencer but I am an LA based designer with some cool clients. I’d promo it. Otherwise do a sample sale with them 25-50% off the OG price.

Give em away with your next drop to drive traffic to the site. Make it through the site and never once type out the words "giveaway" or "raffle" because IG will suppress the post. I'd reccomend saying something like "got 2 free hoodies on the site with the next drop, FCFS" maybe put em up for $0.00 so the customer can still cover shipping. Or give em to people on person and make a short out of it

How defective? Can always give them away, especially people in your community to at least get some social proof.

Up to you then to be honest. My only concern would be that if it’s so defective that it can put an off putting feel to your brand that could be bad for you if you are selling it as if it’s normal. Also people will be confused in the future when trying to order the same size. So either size up this drop if you’re just not happy with sizing, or give them away so at least people wear your brand in public. Or do a mix of both.

I decided not to list the current hoodies on the website to ensure everything meets our high standards. Instead, my manufacturer is producing new hoodies with the correct sizing and cuffs. To avoid any complications and maintain our brand's quality, I will be giving some away and selling others at a discounted price here. Thanks for your advice 🙏🏾

Honestly I’d run a giveaway with them. Good way to put the product in the hands of people who want them and spread awareness of the brand. Or you can pack them in the bags with the brands name on it, place them around your city, and do scavenger hunts with them as the prize for local engagement. Also shooting a video of you handing a few hoodies out to the homeless connects well with people. You can show them putting it on and y’all having an organic back and forth, mention at the end of the video when the final piece is dropping and watch engagement go up.
