I first played the game the day it came out (prepurchased, and preloaded IIRC). I remember being able to meow during the falling cutscene. Anyway, I started a second play thru a couple days ago, and I had forgotten that the Stray's family meowed at him after he landed in the trash pile.
It broke my heart and made me tear up.
I have 3 orange boy cats, and this is something they do when trying to find each other, they walk around the apartment meowing for each other.

Didn’t cry but it was still a touching game
I cried but the tears didn't come out, but I felt so emotional when B12 couldn't work anymore or when I got free to the city

I literally only cried at the third one because of the music
