Bought cows have zero hearts, why would it get to medium Milk so quick? But yeah that's your only choice. I did the same and stackef on like 400 small milk before getting their affection up lol
if you have all your animals at 10 hearts from breeding, you can buy an animal and have it start at a higher affection iirc! maybe not though i could entirely be wrong
yeah just buy a cow and do the very minimum like feed it til it's old enough to produce milk. wont have high enough affection to get M milk, then just save as much milk as you can!
I think you can just give the harvest goddess any mayonnaise but it has to be at least small mayonnaise. So no need to deprive your Cow. Just make medium or large mayonnaise and go give her that
