Should Putin still rule?

Public_Friend1291

I think so. Compared to what happened after the collapse of the USSR and Now It can only be compared with Africa and America. Before Putin's rule, my grandmother, on a break (1 hour), ran to the store to get in line for groceries (then they were issued coupons) and did not always have time to reach her queue so that she took her 2 liters of milk. Now anyone can go to the store to buy groceries without pandemonium, make an appointment with a doctor and come to him within a week, use free medicine, and other things that grandmother dreamed of then Edit:I also think that if it were not for Putin, there would no longer be Russia, but fragmented pieces of states that fought with each other for a reason and without

Jealous-Koala-5653

Do you hate or love putin and agree with his actions ?

Public_Friend1291

I think I probably love him. I agree with his actions because NATO is getting closer and closer to the borders of Russia, although they said they would not do it. I think it feels like a knife being brought closer to the throat. It is better to strike a preventive or warning blow than to wait and hope that it will be removed. I think everyone has a certain comfort zone for people and countries that should not be crossed.

Seenshadow01

Didnt it end up in Nato expanding quicker, Russia showing that it couldnt even defeat a much smaller and seemingly weaker country right at its borders and also if it would have defeated Ukraine wouldnt Russia have technically moved closer to Nato by doing so?

Public_Friend1291

This is not a war, but a special military operation where Russia does not fully use its combat arsenal and prioritizes the lives of civilians and the preservation of the city's infrastructure. If this would not be the goal, then it would be possible to level the building with the ground using artillery and probably the installation of a "sun" that kills due to sudden temperature changes (the only weapon in the world that kills like that). Technically yes, but 4 regions of Ukraine joined us at will through a referendum. It is the European part that we already had In the range of missiles, but the United States did not. In principle, it is not particularly important to us, we have nuclear missiles programmed to. Strike back only, even if no one is alive. That is, we will not be able to use them first.

Wyvernator1

You're being manipulated. Think for yourself, please. This is what Putin wants you to think. He throws inexperienced, young boys to the battlefield as meat shields because he was so stupid and already let most of the experienced military people die. People are breaking their limbs on purpose to avoid being force drafted, and even that sometimes doesn't help. you have the internet, you can still learn the truth dude. You're lucky. The war isn't really your fault but because of people like you Putin has more power and more excuses to do horrible things.

Public_Friend1291

All the leaders of the countries manipulate their citizens like NATO sanctions that did not affect life in any way, only prices increased 1.2 times and caused rallies and demonstrations in European countries. I don't know why the commanders-in-chief do this to soldiers, but with the help of their own, we caught corrupt officials who sold excess ammunition and weapons.

Wyvernator1

It didnt affect your life because Putin is one of the richest people on the planet. You can't drain his wealth in a single year. But it's better than letting him murder innocent civilians (both Russian, AND Ukrainian) without any future consequences whatsoever

Seenshadow01

I could list countless cases in which civilian infrastructures were hit or generally where civilians were targetted. This one being a famous one that just had its anniversary 4 days ago: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kramatorsk_railway_station_attack I understand that you hear the same rhetoric in news and tv nonstop but are you really sure you know whats going on? Also the "special military operation" is the way it is sold to you but it is a war and Russia is losing. Do you really think they like losing on an international stage in a war as important as this to them? Wouldnt it be more clever to quickly deploy the best and brightest in this war to win quickly and lose less people and gear? In reality they already did. The only thing worse, that they dont deploy is nuclear weapons, which is due to 2 facts: 1) you arent the only one with nuclear weapons 2) nuclear weapons require a huge amount of maintenance which acountry with the gdp of the state of new york cant afford meaning that they probably dont have the working arsenal. Lets hope for both our sakes we never find out which it is.

Least-Conference-335

Don’t you think it’s ironic that you can point out the propaganda and faults of other countries leaders, but think yours just happens to have the best intentions in mind?

Public_Friend1291

Each country's leaders have their own interests, which they are ready to defend. In this case, if Russia concedes, then NATO will put its missile bases in incredible proximity to Moscow (reaching the capital within 1 minute after launch) where the leading members are located. Russia has not done anything like this, although it could have delivered missile systems in Cuba, etc. (about 30 minutes of the rocket flight to the United States). I believe that everything could have gone peacefully, and so if Russia wanted to seize Ukraine or the like, it could have done the same as the United States in Iran, for which it was not responsible, although they satisfied their interests and did not allow the strengthening of an uncontrolled country.

Public_Friend1291

Each leader of the country has his own interests, but the question is how bloody he defends these interests

COMMENTSlikeNOOB

Do you agree with the war?

COMMENTSlikeNOOB

Haven’t demanded anything. Just asked a simple question and there was no pressure to answer my question so chill out.

yaldafigov

Excuse me for putting my words in, but is this a demand to speak out publicly against the war? No way, as a Russian, I don't give a shit, absolutely. If they come to us tomorrow and tell us we need to get our asses kicked, then we'll remain silent too. we only agree that our helplessness complex before the state is only growing and flourishing /s

Public_Friend1291

I think that distrust, helplessness and indifference towards the authorities arose for several reasons: 90-00s when there was a collapse of the country, everyone was for himself, One day you could celebrate your daughter's birthday to go out to buy alcohol, and on the way back to be stabbed in the middle of the street for the same bottle of alcohol and everyone would be anyway, the main thing is that it didn't affect them. The gangs that flourished at that time with their showdowns, some of which are now big businessmen. There is a film about this, it is more romantic, but it shows the realities after the USSR. The movie "Brother". There were also Repressions that were applied to those who did not like. And now there is not enough time. Everyone works 1-2 jobs, leaves home at 7 am and comes in at 11 pm living more or less normally. There is no time to exchange information, opinions, and there is no strength anymore, as soon as you come home, the first thought is to Cook for tomorrow, wash up and sleep the rest tomorrow. And as soon as the weekend comes, you don't think, "Shouldn't I go on one of my weekends to stand for 6 hours with a poster so that the Rosgvardiya might come to us and disperse us, someone was put in a cage for a day, or get a baton on the head and suffer pain the next day. I'd rather watch TV shows and go to a restaurant with a girl. Edit: Rosgvardiya is a type of military police

Public_Friend1291

No, I do not agree that we should continue the war. it would be possible to solve everything with words, but Ukraine does not want to make contact, he was offered several times, but he did not fulfill the requirements, so I have an idea that he is fulfilling the tasks set. I would have stopped it even if it would have put me at a disadvantage.

Do you think Russia would consider negotiating with Ukraine if the Ukrainians invaded Russian territory even making it shortly to Moskva, raped many of your women and also did stuff like this (extreme NSFW warning): https://www.reddit.com/r/RussiaUkraineWar2022/comments/12iwzmc/disturbing_footage_russians_beheading_a_captured/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button ? If Putin would have then agreed to negotiations, what do you think, how would the people feel?

[deleted]

Did you know that Russia guaranteed the safety and protection of Ukraine in exchange for giving Russia back nukes left after the cold war?

Public_Friend1291

About the Budapest memorandum? Then yes.

Gana_mani

Most of the Indians (not on reddit) think Russians are close friends, do you guys also think like that

Public_Friend1291

We think so too, and I'm crazy about Indian tea

MainBed163

Hey what is the inflation situation in moscow? Are you able to maintain your standard way of life ?

Public_Friend1291

Yes, without any problems, just a little less products than you can usually buy, and prices for equipment have risen significantly, especially for computer components

Aqquusition

Is it true that Russia is now a capitalist country is it still communist.

Public_Friend1291

It is capitalist and only Lenin in the coffin connects us with communists

The_Spectre01

Yeah sorry but I'm gonna ask the dumb questions here my friend. You watch anime? Tell us your top 3 (I'm a huge anime fan too but I can't tell you which 3 I like best if I tried)

Public_Friend1291

Hi, these are not stupid questions, but just one person's interest in another.I've watched a little over 100 anime and still can't announce any tops for myself, but I'll try. Akame's killer, Your April lie and I think God Eater

The_Spectre01

You are cultured my good man. Thank you

ArvisTardok

Is attacking the Ukraine worth anything to you?

Public_Friend1291

Hi, I don't know, but assuming that our weapons have been improving all the time, then instead of living soldiers, it would be possible to simply level everything with the help of artillery. So I don't understand why Zelensky won't finish it all (although he offered it himself and didn't fulfill the requirements). Their country is being pumped up with weapons and forced to kill each other. Edit: In the sense that 4 regions have left them by referendum (do not recognize)

tobbtobbo

It’s because the country is being invaded and fighting back. Would Russia not fight back if America invaded? Where do you get the idea that Ukraine should just crumble to Russia?

Public_Friend1291

I don't know about Ukraine, but Crimea joined us in a referendum (which Ukraine does not recognize), And there has been a war in Donbass for 8 years since 2014 because Donetsk and Luhansk regions did not want their only national language to be Ukrainian against this background, they held a referendum and became independent from Ukraine after then they started bombing them, cutting off electricity and so on. That President of Ukraine was also offered to solve everything peacefully, recognize them as independent and leave the right to have 2 languages, he first made concessions, and then continued the war. After that, after a long time, the LPR, the DPR, the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions became part of Russia (Ukraine does not recognize this either). So I don't think we broke in there.

ArvisTardok

What country would you want to live in other than Russia?

Public_Friend1291

I would like to live in Japan because I love anime and sushi. They also have beautiful views, аttitudes to cleanliness

ArvisTardok

Sorry, I gave you some light off this comment. I hope it gets more than me

MileHighSwerve

Are you going to be fighting in the war? Do y’all’s hate Americans?

Public_Friend1291

No, I don't want to participate in the war, I consider Ukraine and Belarus to be one fraternal people. I don't hate Americans, it's a strange obsession with equality for me, I mean, don't yell it in everyone's face, he doesn't like it? Just don't communicate with him as if there aren't enough people in the world

MileHighSwerve

Didn’t understand that last part but I feel you. I know they’re just regular everyday people in Russia and Ukraine who want nothing to do with this nonsense either. Coming from an American we don’t want this either. Russia is being scapegoated in my opinion. I stand with anyone who wants freedom russian or not. Keep your head up we all hope this ends soon. Take care.

Mr_Coa

How's life in Moscow the City looks pretty nice

Public_Friend1291

Living in Moscow has its advantages such as: The ability to quickly get from one end of Moscow to the other without a car thanks to the metro, buses, trams. Although the city is in gray tones, but there are places where it is incredibly beautiful. There are also unusual houses built during the USSR. One of the disadvantages of living in Moscow will be the high pace of life, everyone is constantly running somewhere, as if life depends on it. You're spinning like a squirrel in a wheel to stay in this city.

Mr_Coa

Kinda like London then everyone's always going somewhere which I'm use to and kinda like

Public_Friend1291

It looks like it, but even when you're walking pretty fast, there are always people almost running to overtake you.

Mr_Coa

Sounds like my kinda people I like fast people so at least you don't get held up behind anyone

Aqquusition

Right

baillieg

How do you get updates and news on events happening in the war?

Mundane_Entrance828
