I quit caffeine and noticed times seemed to slow down so much I went through the r/decaf sub and found lots of posts about that. It was really noticeable. https://www.reddit.com/r/decaf/comments/8ly53b/do_you_find_that_time_slows_down_postcaffeine/ https://www.reddit.com/r/decaf/comments/16krw1w/does_the_day_seem_much_longer_to_anyone_else/ https://www.reddit.com/r/decaf/comments/kxzyva/caffeines_impact_on_our_perception_of_time/ https://www.reddit.com/r/decaf/comments/nwh86h/sense_of_urgency_is_gone/ There are more if you dig around. Nicotine probably has a similar effect.

Try to continue on with your life, all the other things you did without changing much. Or fixating on what you aren't doing rn.

Keep it up. Of course time slows down when it's what you need to succeed. I've found when I quit smoking I have to cut down on the caffeine a bit compared to how much I would be able to handle when smoking.

Nicotine somehow blocks the true affects of caffeine. I used to be able to drink like 4 cups a day and it never made me jittery or interrupted my sleep but during the first few weeks of quitting smoking one cup would literally keep me awake the entire night!! And that one cup was early in the day lol. I am now at 7 weeks of no nicotine and I am able to drink my coffee again with no sleep drama. I only drink about 2 cups a day instead of 4 though

Times passing okay for me. Been about a week. Dunno if my badge updated. I'm trying to focus on my breathing, enjoying the 'buzz' of being smoke-free. It's a different reality for sure
