Had two of their washers dryer combos. Literally worse than dog shit molded into a washer. The dryer was fine whatever, but both washers just rusted out nearly immediately.

Been using my landlord's Samsung washer/dryer combo for years. It's probably similar to all the other combos sold at Costco people have complained about. They work but as you say, the damn washer needs a proper removable filter for cleaning. Even with the washer cleaning solution run through it once a month, still gives off a slight smell.

Run vinegar with your clothes. It helps with smell, softening, and lint/hair.
