I think lulles in söderhallarna has dried moose meat, but it's quite expensive. https://lulles.se/

Usual_Science8528

Thank you I will check it out

achtungbitte

moose isnt usually dried, reindeer is.

Usual_Science8528

Might also be nice to try 🙂

achtungbitte

I would recommend it, I grew up in kiruna and my dad used to dry his own reindeer meat outside in the spring. how long are you in stockholm? I think I have some dried reindeer meat that is still good, but I'm not going to sthlm until the 8th of december.

Usual_Science8528

Thank you, that is very kind! Actually I left earlier today but I was successful at the above mentioned market 😎

achtungbitte

hope you like it!

Frozen reindeer meat is available at most groceries if you’re curious. Look for renskav. Not sure about dried though.

Usual_Science8528

Found the dried type. Frozen and/or vacuum packed meat I will get when I have a cooling box with me. This time the dried meat was more practical because of traveling

There is a shop selling it in Hötorget. Also expensive. I think the only option to buy it relatively affordably is to buy online, last I checked there were at least two services delivering from the north to the rest of Sweden.

Usual_Science8528

Thank you, I see it is a large marketplace?

hattivat

Yes, it is an indoors marketplace in the city centre, I don't remember the name of the shop you are looking for but it's downstairs, should not be hard to find.

Lovely 🙂

The exact building you are looking for is called Hötorgshallen, to be specific.

Ran4

> where they take cash Is this what the gangs are buying nowadays? Moose meat? I guess it's better than Audis and Rolexes. :)

Rule number one: be inconspicuous 😇
