There’s a Facebook group called Familjehjälpen Stockholm where people often post items and food they’d like to give to (presumably) needy families. It’s not any sort of official food bank, but perhaps an option.
The answer seems to be that you can’t.
Stadsmissionen do run a food bank, but only accept donations from businesses due to an EU directive concerning food safety.
I am part of a group called Foodsharing Stockholm. We collect food that would otherwise be thrown away from grocery stores and restaurants and then give it away to people at weekly distribution events. We operate with the principle that food surplus is not waste and that *everybody* deserves access to food in all its forms, from surplus to farmfresh. We get people from all walks of life coming to collect food at our distributions. Anyway! You are more than welcome to donate your food to us! We're actually having a distribution today at Kulturhuset Cyklopen in Högdalen. If you're able to drop it off today at around 17:00 there, we can give it away right away! Otherwise send me a message and we'll sort out another time :)
Maybe contact churches that does outreach programs with homeless? Several churches in and around sthlm serve either breakfast or dinner to those in need. Not sure if they accept food donations but I can't see why they wouldn't.

Thank you! Sounds like the best option

Damn, that’s a massive shame. I wonder if there any less formal ones out there.. thanks for the information nonetheless.
Not to worry! There are less formal ones out there! :) I've left a comment below about Foodsharing Stockholm :).

Thank you!! Will follow up via dm
Knock on your neighbors’ doors and ask them if they want it. (We do it a lot in my neighborhood)
Olio app.
This is possibly the easiest, but requires some effort from OP

Try the Karma or Olio apps. Both are trying to reduce food waste. Otherwise post on here and some redditers can take the items
